Russia is popular here in Africa because they are helping to fight against imported terrorism, they don't accuse us of human rights violation when terrorists are destroyed like the west does. Russia is helping us to also fight food insecurity by donating fertilisers and tractors for our farmers and more importantly they are not using IMF and World Bank to impose policies that kept us impoverished while our resources are being exploited after pitching tribes against themselves to engage in conflicts for years
