You forgot the 14 Tanks from the UK. While only a small number, they were the icebreaker. The Challenger 2 is a very good and highly survivable Tank. And with T-62s returning to the battlefield, its older HESH rounds would have some renewed effective on the battlefield against hostile armor. But that aside, dang man. That's a lot of support and troops getting trained. Plus, the increase in ammunition manufacturing. It's about time. Too many people were beginning to think Future War would only be small teams of highly mobile troops. That idea has been tried so repeatedly; I'm surprised it is STILL being tried.

Russia is not the soviet union. This needs to be kept in mind. Russia understands a war with the west is a war that will end the wealth and control of the powers that be in Russia. There is no reality where they would actually use nuclear warheads simply because America have proven their military capabilities and intelligence. We have also all seen what Russia is capable of. They could fire a nuke but I think its been made pretty clear, we know where Putin is. We know where their nuclear warheads are held. Our missiles work and are incredibly accurate we also have overwhelming military force. Russia has spent 3 years from today planning this war in Ukraine, The west has used the same time to map out Russian military assets and naval assets in such an event article 5 is triggered. I would even go so far to argue that a war with the west would end within 24-48h because of the absolute devastation to the Russian forces inside Ukraine. Check out operation desert storm and also the Iraq invasion and the methods used. It really brings home what the Russians lack, they talk a good talk and on paper have strength but the reality is the completely opposite. Only a few of their best planes actually operate in a combat capacity, they boast hardware which it seems was paid for but corruption led to the numbers being far less (such as tank numbers). There's no reality where launching a nuclear strike would benefit Putin and also I don't think he's "crazy" I think he's ego driven. He's no Hitler, I don't think he would actually allow the destruction of Russia on his watch. The destruction by failure isn't the same as scorched earth intentional destruction ofc :)

@ミスティドラゴン why should we be concerned? you think we can stop Africa nd china pumping CO2 into the air when we have had the luxury of 120+ years of doing just that to industrialise nd modernise. If we essentially forced them without a clean energy replacement thats equal in price then you would essentially cause mass poverty. Africa especially is playing catch up nd china is not about to be told by the west what they can do. The sooner we reach the point where nuclear nd renewable energy is as abundant as fossil then the switch will happen. Ideology aint about to change a god damn thing in these countries though. If you want to force china down to 0% emissions my advice would be raise an army because that is fantasy. Its important to be realistic. No one will stay poor to save a planet they can't live in due to them dieing of hunger. I think people fail to understand that men that control armies are the ones that seem to make the calls. Political posturing on climate issues is meaningless. Technology is the true answer to this problem.
