@@armanicharles5336 Then soon after Tanks will be built at least 8 metres underground with concrete roof. Fuel Tanks will be 150 metres apart to minimise damage. Don't forget attacks are a act of war that come and go! Russia also has less problems shooting down missiles! Debris is a real problem whilst Tanks are exposed and close together. Yet that said production has not been unduly affected. 🙂

I don't think it work, if the attacking drone use special kind of explosive or make a fast dive from high altitude.

@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines It doesn't an FPV drone is very tiny and it's mostly used as Kamikaze. It only protects from dropping grenades on it from the drones. Has zero effect against javelins and kamikaze drones. it's a psychological blanket.

It seems most of these drones drop their munitions prior to hitting the target causing maximum damage.

Ukraine needs sense. The more the strike Russian refineries, oil prices increases and the US dollar weakens... Asides the fact that Russia will respond in kind.

I wonder how effect they can 'cope' against ATACMS? The need for drones has been their abundance and their range, and oil refineries are well within the legal war scope of targets. With that well-established, a few well-placed ATACMS can help. While Putin's dogs attack Ukraine's civilians and their power infrastructure, Ukraine is very civilly targeting military backing infrastructure like these refineries - which have the added benefit of disrupting Russia's progress financially. Maybe the best sanction is a long range rocket after all? More ATACMS for Ukraine, especially as they prove that they can utilize them with great efficiency.

Will not help them in the long term 10 drones create a hole followed by 10 drones to actually hit the facilities, storage etc etc.

It will push up the oil prices in international market; Russia will still be able to earn more profits despite lowering the supply. It will also make the price cap, imposed by Western nations ineffective. Similarly, this will again give birth to inflation in European markets that may ultimately bring people into the streets against their governments. So, liberal democracies of the West will face challenges with the rise of right wing politicians. This is also helping Putin to build a narrative in Russia that Ukraine is a threat to its national security. So, Russian forces will fight with more nationalistic fervour, which was lacking in early stages of the war.

Funny that after bayraktar drones destroyed Russian tanks, I commented that the tanks need titanium umbrellas as a protection, next thing you know I saw the tanks being installed with protective cages!

Their air defenses are. But no air defenses are 100%. The Iranians hit Israel through every type of western air defenses, including air to air missiles from jets, the Aegis system , Patriots, THAAD, etc. They did that with old obsolete missiles, and cheap drones.

Well, 1/3 of all air defenses in Europe were in Ukraine in 2022. Russia has since eliminated almost all of them, and can hit anything in Ukraine. Ukraine hasn't even put a nick in Russian air defenses, and most of Ukraine's drones and missiles are shot down. Very few get through and do damage. The Ukrainians weren't smart enough to come up with anything at all.
