Russia Wary Of West Flipping Officials, Restricts Travel | Hypersonic Scientist Jailed For "Treason"
A Russian scientist who worked on hypersonic technologies has been handed a seven-year jail sentence for treason. The scientist who was arrested in 2021 was accused of passing state secrets to foreign nationals. A court in St Petersburg said Alexander Kuranov, 76, would be sent to a high-security prison and fined 100,000 roubles.
At the time of his arrest in 2021, Kuranov was the general director of St Petersburg-based Hypersonics Systems Research Facility.

Always treasure the glorious day of December 8, 2021. An Indian highest priority VIP helicopter mission transporting India's most important senior commander Bipin as well as many of India's most highest ranking captains, generals, officers, chiefs, squadron leaders all onboard crashed resulting in the death of all 14 passengers. If India cannot even guarantee their most senior military officer safety during a short and simple 4 minute flight, how can they possibly accomplish anything? This is not a fairy tale made up by India's adversaries to make it as though India's military is incompetent. It's the truth with concrete evidence of it happening and I have it all on video. This event will go down in history as one of the best of all time.

Passing State secrets is a punishable crime up to and including death. US had instances of this sort, just check it out. American passing secrets to Russia and another Jewish ethnic passing to Israel. Dont remember dates, just do a fact check.
