Im working on quitting weed but i get so depressed for weeks afterwards. I just want less anxiety and be more motivated.

Think he's referring to certain types of weed, maybe indicas that knock you out and what was more prevalent in his day. He's spot on, on most things, but weed can be helpful especially if it's getting you more clear. For him he doesn't need it - but it helps a lot of people. Meditation is key tho

Peace and love uncle Rush but you gotta understand that you don't have "broke nigga" problems. The average black man/woman doesn't have the time, money, energy, etc. to dedicate 20 min every morning to meditate and then go to hot yoga after that. I try to meditate a few times a week but it's hard to be consistent when you're grinding everyday to escape poverty.

Terri Facts. I agree. There's still a journey after the choice for many of us. I don't want to make an excuse for not meditating but I can see how trying to escape poverty can take up your day where you won't make time to meditate. Getting money is therapeutic. lol
