I’m quite sure, most if not all of the women he slept with were quite complicit.

I thought Russel was a bit strange and over the top, not really my kind of humor. After my divorce from my ex wife, my 14 year old daughter ended up in rehab and Brand showed up on visting day. He didn't bring press or cameras to let everyone know that he was helping kids. He was generous with his time, he told inspirational stories, joked (appropriately) and gave his rings, bracelets and necklaces to all the kids. My daughter credits him as a huge influence to get and stay clean. I have the utmost respect for Russel Brand now.

Probably really quiet and boring compared to this. From what i've seen about him so far, I would assume his heroin use functioned to quieten down and numb the huge emotional burden that often comes with being a creative genius with an overactive mind, rather than embracing it like he does now. He was probably nodding out in the corner rather than embracing his personality like this.Don't know if he was into stimulants and stuff but I think he liked heroin the most.

Sure, if you find someone attractive, you might be more likely to welcome advances like this, but that isn't a given (many people would feel uncomfortable regardless of looks).

Nope. Everyone one of these girls could sue him for workplace harassment. What you said is BS because the discretion is with the women, regardless of how good ‘YoU CaN ReAd SoMeOnes CoMfOrT LeVeLs’. If he had an allegation filed against him, they’d use this as prime evidence quicker than a heartbeat, and he’d be finished. The argument that females (and males) call assault or harassment when the other party is not attractive is an absolutely valid point.

@@maximyles That's my point, the discretion IS with the person being hit on. If they're open to it, it's not harassment. If they aren't, it is. It's really that simple. If someone is making you uncomfortable, regardless of how they look, it's harassment. I feel like that's just an excuse some people make when they're told off for being creepy. "Oh well, if I was attractive, no one would care!" No. They need to learn how to respect boundaries.

He was just trying to be funny, and made an action like he was pretending to grab a woman's tits. He was fired and lost his career in politics. There are cases where men have lost careers based on one incident of "harassment" even when he backed off after the first incident Then there are cases where a woman willingly had sex with a man and he gets destroyed like Matt Lauer. Many women have been open to flirting and even sex, then later files a lawsuit for sexual harassment.

Sexual harassment is dehumanizing and often frightening. It's not something people make up on a whim. Taking the one fake report to devalue the majority of real ones that caused extreme harm is just another way of oppressing those who face sexual harassment.

Best comment here. This has been my experience as well - I have seen quite unattractive guys get girls on charisma alone. To everyone still seeking the answers, here is my point of view on it: The main thing is always your vibe, your current energy - if you emanate that presence, peace, playfulness, love even....it's there. It's not always going to lead to sex or a relationship because you can't just connect and have sex with EVERY woman, some are just not into you, some are in a relationship, for some you aren't their type,....etc. women's interests and desires vary a lot and every woman is unique. Meditative and introspective practices have helped me massively in that regard - once you clear out your social anxiety, are able to fully accept yourself unconditionally, as well as let go of any anger, hate or fear of women (as well as feeling that women are either superior or inferior to you)....your charisma and level of attractiveness skyrockets. Don't believe me, try it and you'll see. Besides meditative practices, two great introspective techniques for letting go of emotional baggage are also The Work from Katie Byron (especially for letting go of limiting beliefs) and the EFT tapping procedure - search for both, both can be found in books, as well as free online. Do not forget that it's important to also be groomed, be healthy and fit as best as you can, live a full life and actually like your life and yourself, as best possible (all as best possible - you don't have to have the looks of Brad Pitt or the money of Bill Gates, or the body of Schwarzeneger - just do the best you can, that in itself is very important, because taking care of every aspect of yourself and your life will make you love yourself and your life more). Note also that all meditative and introspective practices will get you to like your self more, like your life and get a better more fulfilling life in the process.
