It's like a metamorphosis from a catapillar to a butterfly 🦋 I am nowhere like the person I was 5 years ago. I'm still in the process of sanctification all these years later. There are things I must still do to improve my walk and be a good example as a Christian. It isn't until our resurrection we receive our incorruptible bodies snd have been purified by God. God's kingdom is perfect and void of all things offensive. ✝️

Jesus saved me 8 months ago I was an alcoholic he spoke to me and said I walk with him now and filled me with the Holy Spirit. I tested it I went to 6 pubs and drank coke never touched a drop of alcohol and don't have any cravings for it at all Praise the Lord our God Jesus Christ 🙏🏻 I thank him everyday he has made my new.🙏🏻✝️

It took until my mid 50’s to recognize that voice talking to me and giving me discernment was actually the Holy Spirit. Who Jesus said would come after he died. I’ve since worked on cultivating actively listening to his voice.

Just imagine basking in love that is so pure that it fills every crevice with its light, warmth and protection, and within it reveals all truth of light and darkness, good and evil. Yes! The voices in our head! I love the Holy Spirit! He came to enforce the covenant, cut in the blood of Jesus Christ…all for me!!! My relationship with the Father is restored! I come to Him with clean hands and a pure heart…all because of Jesus. There was a time I asked for forgiveness for judgements I had made against my mother. As I spoke with the Lord about that judgmental “personality” I had taken on, Holy Spirit instructed me to stand in front of a mirror and say, “I like you Kelly! You have worth and value!” As I said that, He said, “Don’t look at yourself like you do when you are preparing for your day. Look at you.” When he said that I remembered the eyes are the window to the soul. As I looked into my eyes, I saw the hurt, wounded girl that was me! I wept bitterly over who I had come to believe I was. As I looked into that mirror for days to follow, healing began to take place in my soul. I came to not only love myself, but like myself. Oh! The voice and instruction of the Holy Spirit! The beauty of it all…When I learned to love myself I could then truly love my neighbor. No longer listening to the voice of condemnation! I am loved! I am accepted! And I want the same for you! Oh the depth and riches found in Jesus Christ! For all eternity we will never exhaust all that He is❤❤❤. Praying for you and your precious family!

Years ago I read something that was helpful but I wasn’t ready yet, so filed it away : in turning my will & life over to God and seeking forgiveness for myself yet harboring ill-will & resentments against others clearly I would not know peace (that surpasses all understanding)….the growth & transformation I was undergoing took time. When I was sick n tired of carrying around that backpack of disfunction, I prayed for God’s help. In time it eased, I own my part in these past relationships, and conduct myself today far more graciously. This includes my own self-image & forgiveness. Process not perfection, the Lord knows I’m not perfect.

@@NancySlider It's really none of my business I wanted to ask are you by chance in recovery? The way you said some things resonated with me. I've fought addiction mostly since I was 26 I'm 44. It truly got "set off" after an incident where I got pregnant when I was a virgin and said no. I got sober almost two years ago only to find so much grief and rejection. i've experienced God's presence in a profound way that I believe He gave me so I wouldn't totally despair. But I'm getting close. This last year I basically have not left the house. I realy beieved God was healing and restoring me and I failed or I'm too "mentally ill" and I'm just SO exhausted in every way and tormented literally 24/7 in my mind and body and even sleep. I'm so weary. I don't know what to do and I never got to live I feel just fight and I don't understand. I had a "shackles off" mind and body experience many years ago that was too real to be imagined or some sort of "mania" and I LONG for that I ask God to please bring me back there. It's getting to be too much and my daughter is growing up and I so want to be restored fully in her life and my family's but it's not easy. When I was ready to be there at her b day i was told by my mom whose raising her "no one would be there if I came". I've been devestated and tortured. I cannot get over it and I cannot stay consistently sober. My mind won't quiet and I'm so tired. The grief over all I have missed and my family not truly understanding me nor trying to see the truth about me. I feel like I do not have much left.

Lately, I've recieved clear messages, I get chills, goosebumps, but they're not the ominous kind. They always contain important information. I'm paying attention; there's a reason they're more frequent, there's urgency, but also peace. The Magnificat, "my soul magnifies the Lord..." came to me, that's when this started, & I cried like a baby. Not usually the weepy, sentimental type. Tears of joy, though. I think it's a protection. The world's in deep trouble , it's escalating, & those moments of grace remind me who's in charge. Ask & you will recieve. Offer it up. God bless us all.

I know you believe this, but to Russell and you, and his wife, focusing on Mary is a diversion from turning to Jesus alone. No matter how you try to make it lovely. It’s not Jesus alone, He is God in the flesh- He is who we sit with and talk to. He is God, there is no other. There is no reason to have Mary meditate. He hears us, dies for us, leads us to Himself. That alone is the beauty of Him calling us out of darkness into His marvelous light. He does that, sit with Him, walk with Him, talk with Him. And, pray that He gives you discernment to help you separate truth come lie. Satan is a deceiver and liar. The Lord will lead you to Himself, His word, and peace. All other mediators can be flawed. He is perfect. And so, why after hearing the truth that sets you free do you then go back to another mediator rather than into His perfect presence alone- that He opened the door to you to come in with Him, with great love and sacrifice, why do you need any other when you finally have His holy and saving pure presence of Him ….He, is all in all. His actual Holy Spirit is in you, there is only diversion through any one who brings a mediator, He opens the door- go in with Him. It’s- The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. Having been Catholic- I got saved at 40. Then, I had total peace in Him alone. In marriage, it’s God, husband and wife. In relationship being described as us being the bride of Christ. We don’t bring others in to our marriage to Him to be the mediator. We have Him. We didn’t yearn our entire lives for Mary, we yearned for Him. If you have Him, He is enough, complete, whole. There is no other greater love than Him. We speak with Him now. How blessed that is, treasure Him.

Wow, this moves my heart! I was a Christian all my life but after I started hearing the voice of Holy Spirit more clearly, I realized the incomparable privilege and benefits of having the King of the universe and the expert of absolutely everything as my best friend.

Christ is King! Our Redeemer! Our Shepard! Lord of Lords! Kings of Kings! Our SAVIOR. Blessed are we who are redeemed by Him! Welcome to salvation, Russel! Welcome to eternity!

It is why we are told to pray without ceasing. Be in communication with God rather than your sinful nature.

You belong in the kingdom of heaven .

That interior monologue becomes dialogue. But steeping your conscious mind in the Scriptures daily is what helps us to train our minds to think like Christ. I’m praying for you, Mr. Brand! God bless you as you experience the truth of Christ’s words, “Seek and ye shall find.”

Quite your soul, remove your thoughts and let the Holy Spirit talk to you. You may not hear nothing and that’s okay but keep practicing this exercise to quite your soul, your mind and thoughts and FOCUS on Jesus, His Word and Thank HIM for what HE has done in your life. Just Thank HIM.

Amen! It is almost routine of the devil and demons to use other people or other ways to attack Christians and especially new Christians ✝️ to turn them away from God and try and deceive and lie that becoming a Christian made your life worse cuz of the spiritual attacks. Trust in God and always ask him to go with you, he will shower his people in blessings when they believe in him and love him and will protect you even if the situations you are in seem stressful or hopeless. Lay down your worries and know God is in charge and you have nothing to worry about ❤ he will fight for you! I will pray for you Russell 🙏 I know things will work out for the best! Just make sure you forgive those who hurt you let go and let God. 💯 ❤ " if they hate you remember they hated me first" love that quote by Jesus it is inspiring ❤

God bless you all. ❤ I have had a very similar path to you Russell being addicted to drugs , been through the 12 steps sought enlightenment through many different religions , philosophies, spiritual practices but then on my last heroin relapse I was given a revelation that these things that portrayed themselves as things of enlightenment were utter darkness hence why I fell flat on my face. Jesus is king and I thank God for his grace. I could easily have been dammed for eternity scary. Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places
