Russ was hated on as a kid and everyone said himself and his music was wack. Labels denied him when he needed money and proceeded to invest in other artists. That’s why his attitude is the way it is. He was cheated on several times by girls as well. (The song “Goodbye”) Now all of the sudden he gets poppin and has money and now everyone is back saying he’s amazing. You think that wouldn’t affect your feelings and attitude. This is year 10 visions for him. It’s all fake these days since they only want you when your winning. That’s why he doesn’t have a label, producer, song writer or anything. It’s all him so he can give ALL the money to people who were with him no matter what like himself, his parents, and his tight circle of friends. I fully understand his personality and I see no problem with it.

I hate myself but i love russ.

Russ is the reason why I'm thinking the way I do.. So I can understand why they want to hate him. After I read the books he suggested - I tapped into my mind and remembered who I was again. Russ believed in himself before anyone ever did. If he's got people hating now, you can only imagine how it must have been when he first started. This is why I continue to strive everyday with my own Music. You just have to get started and keep moving forward. Eventually all those little steps begin to add up and the results will speak for themself! Confidence mixed with ambition - Everything will fall in place.

He doesn’t push any boundaries instrumentally or production wise, his bars are predictable and don’t make me think much, and his content is painfully recycled. Russ reminds me a lot of Big Sean. Not for his flow but for his start. When Big Sean started i thought he was fun.
