Before this interview, I never really watched Russ interviews or tried to know Russ as a person. To be honest, I just relatively recently fcked with his music. I considered myself a fan because I soley was just into his music. BUT AFTER THIS INTERVIEW, despite the abrasiveness and delivery and whatnot, I can see the PASSION in his message and his truth. I'm realizing, as a social work student, he's like a social worker himself advocating for social change but through his platform. I respect this so much.

Jordan Peterson said "Don't be agreeable" research who he is he will change your life. He is a Professor who makes more than people within his field and more than Russ and many rappers on a regular basis. Russ's delivery is quite harsh so people see him as arrogant because he may lack eloquence but we have an intellectual who preaches what Russ does. That says a lot. A lot of times we want people to like us. Russ doesn't care adopting his shadow self so to speak. This is a very dominant position. Sort of Napolean haha who was average actually by today standard but it relates to Russ personality and small frame. His personality does shift him and in that industry it ain't going to work. Too much politics but this is life not only in this field. If his delivery showed more humility people would ride by it.

Seeing his perspective actually makes me want to explore his music more.

"ZOO" is one of the most complete albums to come out this year and is easily one of the top 5 albums of this year. (Btw thanks for the B-Day presents much appreciated).

Russ is right. But he can protect himself more and learn how to not let people’s opinions get to him. Meditation can help with keeping yourself centered. Don’t ignore the hate, but don’t absorb it. There are definitely negative repercussions from social media, and I’m glad Russ is talking about it.

Russ is genuine, real, authentic, and is always trying to teach common sense and real life human values. People need to get off their stupid high horse and understand that this man is living His Truth. Two thumbs up for Russ!!!

I've worked with Russ. I was a director of an interview he did back in 2016. He definitely is very self absorbed and although I am a fan, he does belittle others especially behind the scenes. He has great message but he has to understand that he can express his emotions through a calmer more positive outlook instead of spreading alot of negativity. If he spoke like Cole or Kendrick, reserved and real, people would listen more. Otherwise it feels bitter

Russ is 1# of the Real rappers that still stands up for real Hip Hop, Much Love 💯💯💯💯
