Bleh music tends to sell a lot since it is bleh the average music listener isn't very critical of songs. They just like catchy songs 2. Cole doesn't just write lyrics and leave the rest to others and he makes better songs than Russ(Atleast imo) and Russ isn't the only person who has done it and once again the people who think he is too cocky don't believe he does everybody jobs really well. They think he does it mediocrely lol if somebody at your job walks around cocky and arrogant when they really aren't that good at their job you would probably think aye what douche just do your job and the praise will come. Don't praise yourself especially when you aren't as great as you think you are. Kanye gets away with a lot of his arrogance because he has backed it up with multiple classics. This guy has not.
