Yup, saw it happen in the US Army after Tet in '68 in Vietnam. Units increasingly refused to engage the enemy once they knew things were winding down and America would be leaving. Military morale is a very fickle thing.

А то-что россия в ответ вас в каменный век вобьёт, то это как-то они и не задумываются, и комментарии об этом моём предупреждении упорно исчезали, и никто там их эти бурные радости и фантазии никак и ничем так и не омрачил, что конечно подозрительно и показательно... И как то даже немного жалко их... Они там под этими новостями о рос НПЗ, до сих пор как насекомые - навечно застыли в янтаре своих сладостных планов надежд и мечт, пребывают там в своём том теперь вечном не ведении о дне сегодняшнем... Надо будет их потом как нибудь зайти на их каналы и поприветствовать - ещё один новый их счастливый день... И отблагодарить ютуб, что так и не дал мне тогда ничего им рассказать - о том печальном сегодня случившемся вчера завтра сегодня... Надо будет зайти и посочувствовать им, и посетовать - на то-что ютуб бывает необычайно и по особому жесток со свободными и независимыми людьми украины и всего западного мира

Size isn't important. Britain was a world spanning empire with a population of 9 million and is now a basket case with a population of 70 million. Look at the J's, they dominated European and American politics using nothing but in-group preference and mafia tactics and they were a tiny minority. Russia today is probably far more effective than the Soviet Union was and it is far smaller. Dumping the rebellious minorities made Russia Stronger, just as flooding Britain with minorities made it weaker.
