    Concerning the surprise votes this weekend on the support packages in the US Congress, does anybody here know if there will be debate and separate votes on tabled amendments to these bills? This is usually allowed, just like in the GB Commons, but I've been trying and failing to find out if this is going to happen at these House votes or whether amendments have just been suppressed for reasons of time...

    With the passing of this round of funding for Ukraine, yes you were quite right about that, the sheer scale of the defeat the west is going to suffer on the world stage is guaranteed to escalate to such a level that it is difficult to see the west surviving with any semblance of integrity and cohesion. Ukraine is now guaranteed to reach losses in excess of a million men and lose it's statehood into the bargain, the west will present as weak, incapable of defending itself and yet again completely failing to deliver security and prosperity to either their proxies or even themselves. Just what is the point of a capitalist society hell bent on it's own economic failure? When political ideology becomes more important than economic stability as it has become in the west, you are running down the same disastrous taken by the Soviet Union.

    In a way, the old Warsaw pact, controlled by Russia, has been replaced with a new kind of pact between Russia, China, Belarus, North Korea, and Iran, and the new pact is much stronger than the old pact, military and financially. Russia has given Iran S300´s and S400´s, Iran has given Russia Drones, Russia has learned Iran and China to make missiles, North Korea has given Russia 1 million 152 mm rounds, Russia has placed Atom missiles in Belarus. Yes, the new pact is a reality. The reason Russia not yet has joined an attack on Israel, but only send warships with nuclear missiles to the conflict arear, is because of the 1 million jews in Russia, but Russia is aware of the hostile acts of Israel, against Russa, is, when Israel bombed a factory in Iran, that produced drones, to Russia, to be used in the fight against Ukraine. Well, what a lot of people don’t understand about war is that, “the loser is always the one on who’s territory the war is fought”, this is why you don’t see America wanting to fight on their continent. Ask yourself when was the last time America allowed a war on their continent? If Russia was such an enemy to the USA, they will not fight Russia through Europe when they share a peaceful boarder with the same country in Alaska, Logistic wise for the USA, wouldn’t it be okay to start conflict with the USA from there? Only fools fight their neighbors at the request of their distant friend.

  • @Jamicaman516

    @Jamicaman516

    The US hasn't had to fight a war on the North American continent because its so much more powerful than both its neighbors who are also steadfast allies of the US. If Russia wanted to invade Alaska it could, at huge cost in logistics to get to Alaska to than move through a land that's not even built up at all. Easy way to lose an army.

    @@Jamicaman516 You mean to say if the USA wants to invade Russia? Because there is no evidence Russia wants war with the USA, but the USA is the one who is always looking for war with Russia through proxies. So if they truly want war with the Russian federation, they can obliged themselves through the boarder they share with Russia. However, they won’t do this because they understand that the moment the war is fought on your territory or continent, you are already at loss.

    Not just our government, Ukraine should have been given help to overwhelm Russia at the start or even as the tanks were being amassed on the border. The west should also have stopped Russian and Chinese propaganda long ago. This has had a massive corrosive effect on weak minded people who have fallen for it. You only have to look at how trump has fooled his maga fools so easily to see how stupid some people are. Think critically and always look at what end game is being aimed for. As an example, putin gave NATO expansion as one of his reasons for invading. Did you get any impression at all that we wanted to invade Russia? Of course not and Putin knew that all along. So his end game should be judged by his actions not his words. He has moved his forces away from the Finland border after it joined NATO so he knows NATO is not a threat. Destroying infrastructure, stealing children and killing as many civilians shows us he wants Ukraine for its resources and people. Mentioning nazis is a way to stir up Russians as WW2 is like a religious event to them. Biolabs - propaganda to get support from conspiracy believers and help spread putins other propaganda. The longer it goes on the clearer it will become as all putins bullshit is exposed bit by bit. The most important thing is to do your own research. When someone mentions biolabs, ask them what a biolab is and links to proof they exist. A biolab could be researching the common cold or biological weapons but these people are too stupid to understand the difference.

    Yesterday on some other channel I was trying to explain support for Ukraine to the people supporting it in relation to that bill. I wrote: "Ukraine is a system which is completely dependent upon your help (your arms and money), and of course upon the lives of Ukrainian soldiers. Have you guys considered the fundamental problem in all of this? Let's assume you will send Ukraine a package of your arms and money. Ukrainians will use it (by spending a number of their lives). This won't stop the Russians: it will slow them down. (and they will adapt). The situation will remain the same or it will become even worse. You can do that again and again. What you are buying is time (and the price paid is your money, your stuff, and Ukrainian lives). What are you going to do with the time you've bought for Ukrainians? Build factories across the Europe to outproduce Russia, China, North Korea, Iran? At some point you will run out of something (money, arms, Ukrainians, time, political will) and then the system will collapse. Because it's unsustainable. The game is lost. Conclusion: You are playing a losing game at the cost of your money and your stuff, and at the cost of Ukrainian lives." Of course I understand this is a way for some people to make money.

    "then why the urgency to get that much passed right now? ." There has been too much delay , six months worth, and Ukraine needs the aid immediately to prepare for a Russian summer offensive. Some of the aid can be shipped within 48 hours of Biden signing the bill.

    Over last two decades, Russia has built and/or re-stored an estimated 1,000 Russian Orthodox Churches per/year, after Stalin closed down 98 percent, of all Orthodox Churches by 1939, and his regime killed thousands of priests and nuns - during 1920’s and 1930’s (although Stalin decided to relax restrictions on Orthodox services, during World War II, as the regime needed the support of the Russian people, to defeat the Germans). Once again, the Russian people are returning ‘home’ - to its historical cultural heritage, to the its Russian Orthodox faith, and opening thousands of Orthodox Churches each year (while maintaining respect and protection to the Russian Federation’s religious minorities, including Jews, Muslims and Buddhists believers). Russia supports conservative, traditional family values, wants to maintain security in its’ borders. I think Russia wants to be left basically alone - by the West; especially by Wall Street and multinational corporate/oligarch elites, whose goal is to ultimately control and exploit all of Russia’s vast oil, gas and mineral resources. Russia will never go back to those ‘good old Yelsin years’..they’ve learned their lesson…and want to maintain their own sovereignty and nation and religious faith.
