I don’t want to agree because I love Tia, but honestly I feel like her performances are consistently “safe.” I am glad that she is being showcased more this season, but DAMN! Her winning three in a row was a gag to me. Honestly I never think Tia’s performances fell flat though, in MY opinion lol. I feel like she is always ok to good/great, but I think production is definitely pushing her. Not that it is her fault at all, but production isn’t awarding the others enough…

I think thats why Scarlett or Hannah werent in the top 2 they seemed to mess up more than Tia and Marina

The thing about Six: The Musical is that it's about the 6 wives of Henry the 8th forming a girl group to overcome the abuse of their husband and reclaim their names in history; making this a Rusical about forming a girl group of drag queens. So I can see why it might be confusing to people who aren't familiar with the source material, but was pretty clear if you're a fan of it. The fun part for me as a fan both Drag Race and Six is that Tia and Choriza played those wives in the Snatch Game.

I’ve seen Six, but if I watched this without knowing the title or intent I wouldn’t have gotten that it was referencing Six. They should have just called it the girl group challenge or written verses for them more cohesive with the idea.

I'm pretty sure someone else has already pointed this out, but here I go anyway, just in case: the line that Supreme repeats at the end of each episode is part of the lyrics of "A quién le importa", a song by a nowadays extinct 80's band called "Alaska y Dinarama". The song talks about self reaffirmation, and it has become a Pride anthem for the whole collective in Spain.

Not only spain, but is part of queer latinamerican culture thanks to 90s mayor sopa opera actress Thalia remix versión. It has an impact probably bigger than katy perrys Firework for spanish speakers LGTB population. So I would reaaally consider for English speakers LGBT population to be aware of this, because sure why on earth me a latinamerican LGBT person should know or care about divine, but in the other side of the frontier, people do not know about Alaska or la veneno or even Alan turing. ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ , know what i mean?.

In fact, we knew about her as a singer before we knew she did telenovelas because of her beef with Paulina Rubio. And you know what’s funny? The first time I heard about Divine was from Alaska in an interview, she even has her tattooed.

On a competition note, watching Gothy in this challenge was rough. On an unintentionally funny "character" in a musical challenge note, I can't lie. I kinda cackled.

Just to point out that this Rusical was very true to the format of Six the musical. Ok the songs were not nearly as good, but on stage Six isn't really a "musical" as much as a concert style individual song stories narrative. As a huge fan of the original, they kind of did it dirty with this music!

I love Tia but she was really clunky with the choreo, I think Scalet shoulve won

The lipsync song was longer and Marina performed the full length song on a viewing party here in the Philippines and beybi IT WAS EVERYTHING. There's more comedy bits on it and smooth dancing as what we expect from her. What a delight to see her perform

Ok a few clarification from someone who lives in Spain. What Supreme says at the end of every episode are actually lyrics to “A Quien Le Importa”. I would say it’s like I Will Survive in Spain in terms of being a gay anthem, with lyrics that have the meaning of “I Am Who I Am” in a way. The singer is a group called Fangoria, with the lead singer (Alaska) being a Cher figure for Spain (striaght woman, very queer look, very big gay following). She was actually a guest judge on season 1. Now about the elimination. If the eliminated queens saved the queen whose lipstick was chosen, she would get to choose one of the other two to go.. we wouldnt have a top5. So if they had saved Pupi, she would choose who goes home between Hornella ans Juriji. Thank you as always for your amazing videos ♥️

Personally, I don't see it for Tia. Her drag just isn't as polished as Marina, La Grande Dame, Hannah, Scarlet... I think the win should have gone to Marina and either Hannah or Scarlet this week.

At the end of the rusical, when the lights turned off and we heard Goths saying “this is the hardest stuff I’ve ever done in my life” after half-baking her performance… It was so unprofessional and disrespectful to the other queens. But on the other side it circled back to becoming camp. I agree with the judges, she involuntarily became the main character. I wonder what the others felt like, it was disrespectful but on the other hand, production really threw them under the bus with this challenge. Gothy was basically distracting the judges from the lack of time to rehearse.

Thank you so much for the amazing content, Mera and Scarlett! I found your channel a few months ago and have recently started drag as Shonda Kiss, the drag chameleon. I have an idea for a video though. Maybe try a video based on backstage tea that does not air or good to know things. For example, Deja Skye's solo lipsync on Season 14 during the Snatch Game episode that got cut out or Naomi saying at Roscoe's that all the boxes for the Lalaparuza on All Stars 4 had the same song so the queens would get whatever song production wanted them to have. Could definitely call it "Drag Race Behind the Scenes: Scandals and Shenanigans"

What Supremme quotes at the end of each episode (though I've always felt is a bit long) is a line from a Spanish gay anthem from the 80's by an openly LGBTQ artist, which was rare at the time. Basically any LGBTQ Spanish speaker knows those words (and if they don't, shame on them). It would better translate to: "It's no one's business what I do, It's no one's business what I say. This is me, this is who I'll always be. I will never change."

All Stars 2 had a reunion

I never in a million years thought I’d be hoping for a Samantha win in España but I am so impressed by how her rudemption that I want her to get the crown!

If the group had chosen Pupi to stay, she would have chosen who went to the finale. There would not have been a 5 person finale.

I’m loving that the AS seasons are getting their own episodes and I wanted to share a some new title ideas I have (sorry if they’ve already been suggested): Mangled Mixer, Mangled Meetup, Mangled Moment Also every time I watch España AS and see Samantha’s glow up I think of Scarlet’s reaction to her being cast initially and crack up! I was fully anti-Samantha on AS and now I’m almost fully #TeamSamantha

So the way the rules worked for españa: if Pupi had been saved by the eliminated girls, she would be saved and then choose which of the other two girls in the bottom to go home. We’re lucky that Samantha didn’t choose Hornella to go home, because then she would’ve been saved and she’s revealed that she would’ve chosen Jurijee to go home

As a fan of 6. The musical is set up as a 1 act girl group audition. With each song with their own style and personal story. So yes in this sense seven the rusical is "on paper" is a rusical. But in the drag race realm, it came across as a girl group challenge. So production tried to do something with the show, but there just wasnt enough to go off of. In my opinion

It's not that if they have chosen to save Puppi then they would have a top 5. If the eliminated queens chose to save Puppi then she had to decide which of the remaining bottom queens would join the rest of them to the top 4, and the other would have been cut from the finale

marina was def the one on top but the second person, i didn't see it as tia. i saw it as scarlet or lgd. also, i think immediately after the episode aired, marina released her song "born to do drag" "stiff competition"? this is uk vs the world. Q isn't in this group. 😆😅 not getting the reference of lgd's outfit, at first i thought it was a tampon and reminded me of that maxi-pad dress manila wanted to wear but wasn't allowed to.

Marina ate up Tia she was just standing there awkwardly 💀 I thought Scarlet was going to get top two with Marina over Tia

During the "Seven" Rusical, they rarely gave us a wide shot, and every wide shot we got showed imperfect choreo. I felt the lack of time to practice but I still enjoyed it. I agree that Scarlet should have been top 2 with Marina. I think Tia's runway is the reason she was top 2 instead of Scarlet. Comparing the before looks to the after, Tia's was "more improved" I think.

Self esteem is an ace performer she just finished a 6 month run as Sally bowls in cabaret in the London West end. Uk rusical was a misfire imo. That's 2 misfires in a row after snatch game. I would love to see la grande dome win but I think tia might pinch it .

on UKvTW2, I personally don’t think anyone really killed the choreography, especially the group parts as there were veryyyy few wide shots of the group. I could not stop laughing at Gothy tbh(in the best way), like she gave me camp and even though I do agree with her going home…I lived for her running around bc it’s relatable asf 😭😭
