Its a small detail, but as someone who's been playing for a while, its so refreshing to see the unbridled creativity of people who are new to the game be wholeheartedly accepted!

I absolutely love how Brennan is at guiding new players. It's not easy. I am a new player and tried playing with a friend group. Our friend really wanted us all to get into it, but he gave no guidance and seemed angry at what we all tried, but we weren't being outrageous. We were getting silver weapons because we realized we needed them and he was trying to make it impossible because he didn't want us to have them and wanted us to talk to a specific person, but wouldn't tell us that. He didn't limit what races people could choose from and then made it so certain party members stood out so much we couldn't get things done. It was so frustrating because he had moments that were great, but those moments were all part of the narrative. It would have been nice to have someone who explained everything so well and so patiently. Also, this cast is amazing! I love them all so much! They are so fun!

Reminds me of the meme that says something like, “If you don’t get dressed up and pretend to be a wizard at least once in a while, then are you really living?” I’m not part of the drag community, so this is based on nothing but the idea presented by that quote; maybe drag can be whatever we would choose to wear if we weren’t expected to follow certain social or cultural conventions about clothing. Like hey, if you want to wear ornate robes every so often, or as much as possible, simply because you can and it feels right, then that’s your drag.

Being new to D&D and learning in real time with the queens was such a lovely way to be introduced to the game. The limited episode run was also an amazing length for a new watcher. Dungeons and Drag Queens could be it's own free standing spinoff series (specifically with Brennan as the Game Master of course)! You have stumbled on an amazing combination! I came across a few shorts which were funny but I never expected to like this so much that I literally consumed the entire 2 hour episode in one sitting. I absolutely would have kept right on watching had the rest been readily available. I'm definitely going to track down the rest regardless of what paywall they are behind, which is something I almost never do! So entertaining! Truly amazing job by everyone involved!!

This is the first dnd campaign i’ve ever seen, but i can just tell this was fucking incredible and special. That dungeon master has a gift! Loved the way he weaved all their jokes into the story seamlessly and answered their questions while keeping the pace. The queens where hilarious and their different energies where so fun. Alaska was paying attention honey and Bob was into it!

Bob being the only one who keeping track of all the lore and stuff is pretty much spot on for his character.

i WILL forever have gratitude for this episode, it introduced me to dungeons and dragons and made my life just a little more fun.

Jujubee reminds me of myself when I play: Half the time I don’t know what the hell is going on, but I’m enthusiastic, happy to be there, and I commit to my character 😂

​@blammmed He tends to do a lot of urban fantasy on Dimension 20, e.g. Fantasy High, Unsleeping City, etc, and in general there's a lot of genre-hopping, so it's a little rare for him to be doing such straight ahead medieval high fantasy type stuff on the show

I'm a HUGE fan of Drag Race and have watched every season of RuPauls, but never been slightly interested in DnD. However, this has totally turned me onto DnD!! How incredible with the role playing, the world building and Brennan's narration, I'm absolutely living for the fantasy!

I love that this will present Drag Queens to a new audience, it's such a good move from Dropout at such an important time ❤

This is Brennan doing a 'How to introduce new players to D&D'. And he's doing it superbly! Explaining the mechanics clearly and simply. And letting the players try anything that comes into their heads. Back in the late 70s, I had to figure it out from scratch.

Alaska just vibing in the background and then immediately connecting the dots whenever information is revealed is just so fun to watch

It's literally so funny every time the queens make a drag race reference and Brennan cracks the hell up. He's clearly a FAN. This was truly a magical experience and this is the PERFECT group of players for this experience. I can't wait to watch more. Thank you!!!
