RUNNING OF THE BULLS 2022 Vlog (San Fermin)
This is a vlog if my friend and I running with the bulls this year at San Fermin 2022. This was our first time at running of the bulls, and first time in pamplona, and this event was the most insane thing I have ever been a part of. The people were amazing, the culture was rich, and the sangria ran through our blood. We didn’t get a hostel so we slept in the parks of pamplona. We ran in Friday the 8th, 2022. There was a lot of energy because the event had been cancelled the past couple years due to COVID. We ran the streets of pamplona and then went to a bull fight. Do not do the thing you see in this video, this is just a vlog of us running with the bulls. When we ran with the bulls, we couldn’t think of much. The crowd just starts pushing and running. You hear the bulls thudding down the street and you. Can feel the anxiety. There are people on the ground that you have to hurdle, luckily no one was gored. So much adrenaline as everyone frantically runs through the street

Thank you my friend!
this is good content and you reported exactly what it is like to be there.. people fighting , stealing and doing all sorts of crazy stuff to each other. Parks full of people trying to sleep in sleeping bags. I had mine stolen. I could not find a airbandb... no hotels and the rooms that were available were like a small fortune. No joke . Like 1000 usd. I met so many americans and japanese... and most of them were drinking. The concerts at night can be realy cool!

Hey thanks for the comment! Did you go this year? The pricey were unbelievably high for housing. The festival is just saw Raw in every way. It’s dangerous, it’s loud, the people are drunk, and the thieves are out. Quite an amazing time. Hope you got to enjoy it as well

@@comfortablylost6459 no. cant afford it all the time but i was there 2016 for day and a half... one night two days. It was awesome! but it was dangerous and scary at times but good times! no joke!
I though they band this in Spain. Been looking for this in Malaga, but no action in the arena. Loved the video btw! Good pacing 😀

Hey I appreciate you leaving a comment! So as far as I know, bull fighting has been getting banned in various regions across Spain, however, San Fermin is still going strong and I don’t see it being banned any time soon just due to how strong of a tradition it is in Pamplona

Do you have a video of when the second group of steers entered the ring? My buddies and I got trampled and we've been trying to find footage online.

I looked through my camera role and unfortunately I don’t have anything from when the second steer was released. I did know they were going to release a second so my phone was off :(

What a neat time it was!
and by the way good tips... i got there by bus. It is so much slower but hugely relieable. huge. Like they stop all over spain in smaller cities and you at least get to snoop around other cities. Nearby Salamanca and other cities that seemed to me really cool. Although given the cheap amount of the ticket cost. One can find very bad characters. I was sat next to this huge cuban guy who wanted to ask all sorts of weird questions to me on the way there. He could not udnerstand how me.. being somewhat dark. Although I was born in Toronto (and raised) and yet he (sitting next to me) could not understood that I spoke English quite well and I was learning a bit of French. French maybe. But he was so rude and at the end he almost wanted to pick a fight. And there are arguments because everyone wants to travel cheap. We are talking about Madrid to Navarra for like 30 Euros. Which is quite cheap. So it took me about 8 hours to get there. but it was interesting and in the end I picked up my bag my sleeping bag attached to the bag. I tried to find and airbandb and I saw it was like $1500 usd per night some places were more! I put my bag down for a while to buy the return ticket. When I came back my sleeping bag was gone. I had to buy - like you guys - some sort of towel. It was horrible. I had to sleep near the train station. I also got stopped by the police once and they searched my whole bag. They spoke in Spanish and Euskadi. (which is the local language that is the closet to germanic sounding languge in the region). NO joke. anyways. I had not weapons of course or booze. I did drink a little , mainly white wine. Some beers. Like you guys and I ran once. I got injured. But not so bad. Some people were bleeding really bad. It was early in the morning and I was surprised as to how drunk they were. You guys are cool ... most americans I met afterward in ibiza were all really contatined and given to fight. Some were cool but I can tell you guys were drinking and chilling .... you guys are cool. My type of dudes that I would hang out. I met a ton of americans in Pamplona that were headed over to Barcelona or Bilbao for festivals. BKK festival in Bilbao ... etc etc... Also for some reason extreme amount of Japanase couples running.

WOW you had quite the experience! I hope your time didn’t in Pamplona didn’t set you back for the rest of your travels. It’s interesting how many angry people you will meet. I always tend to wonder, “why are they so mad?” We all have this chance to explore such amazing spots, why put energy anywhere but being happy and enjoying life? You seem like a real cool dude! Thanks for all of your kind comments in the channel. I hope you are having a great day

@@comfortablylost6459 I think. Once you get to ibiza , for the first time it is like going to an island full of clubbers. It is like going to a club turned into a paradise of an island. A lot of people just do not do well in extreme sort of social situations. I am honestly a calm , chilled guy but within Ibiza (once I got there I found too many scams). Anyways , I guess people that I found were really guarded. But to put it into context - in order to explain - in comparison to mainland spain where you find a lot of american teachers, students (no joke - a lot). I even drank with some girls in a park in madrid LOL. They were from UCLA. lol. Some people that go to ibiza might not realize that it is a totally different vibe. So maybe that is why I found the change and I express this sentiment. I found that some people from north america like to go for walk, explore the city, drink coffees , take pictures of the city etc etc etc. Shop around. etc etc. But in Ibiza it is a whole different story. So when you make the cross over change , once you are waiting for the airplaine ryan air , Iberian airlines etc etc etc it is totally different vibes. I find the contienental people in mainland more contained and easy going and chilled. LIke Barcelona. And the people heading the opposite direction to Ibiza - or magaluf maybe a bit more wild?? And running the bulls in retrospect in 2016 was such a cool prelude. I have never talked or expressed this sentiments to anyone so it is cool to see. Spain is really really nice to live in but only if you are from the mainland or are extremely rich. Or wealthy enough. I have been to Spain 9 times. lol I know spain quite well. and yes it is a cool spot to go in the summer. And espeically if you can teach or afford to go to school there as student abroad. going back to school for professional aspirations. anwyays... wicked vlog I checked it out. It is cool! peace man!
