I ran my 1st 10k in April in 1:09 then the London Vitality 10k in May in 1:07 , then a 10k race for life in July in 1:01 and I got a new PB of 59 mins 2 weeks ago. I run my 1st half marathon on 1st Sept & I'm nervous but so proud of what my body is doing. My 1st 10k I was emotional too. We are FRIKKEN awesome. Good luck with your future running xxx

Congrats! i've been doing couch to 5k and can run 5k now but struggle get past feeling knackered at 5k to run any further, 10k is awesome!

I still hate running but I’m obsessed with the feeling I get after.. I have chronic pain so it’s hard but I love finishing them.. I did my first half marathon the other month and I was aiming for under 3.5 hrs and I did it in 3.01 and I cried as I crossed the finish line but I can 100% say (although the route was the seafront so really nice and that may be why..) that the half marathon distance has been my favourite so far.. xx well done on your 10k that’s a great time and about 3 minutes faster than mine haha xx

Did you do interval running or did you just go for it and keep going each time until you couldn’t go anymore? I’d love to run 5k and hope I get there!!
