You realize what a difficult song I have nothing is until u hear other artists sing it whitney really is a beast nothing taken away from Natalie Cole, she sang it very well and in her own way RIP to both divas ❤️👑
up there with all the greatest
Incredibly beautiful and breathtakingly fearless. I'd never seen this until now 9/2018. Natalie Cole is beyond beautiful and gorgeous. She's the most gentle classy diva I've ever seen. Her.voice and her music makes my heart fill with joy. She was indeed that "sophisticated lady." None can follow her. Rest easy ms Natalie Cole and your son also.
That is the most dramatic gown I have ever seen ! She looks like a cross between a rose and a fire engine . Long live Natalie , gone but never forgotten
This was beautiful and elegant
I never really knew how close Natalie and Whitney were until I started seeing some of these clips with the two of them together performing. Both ladies at the top of their game now sing for the choir in heaven together. RIP to these two queens.
Wauw ... that is some dress !!! And some GREAT VOICE too !!! Love Her !!!
RIP Stephanie Natalie Maria Cole. You never looked more beautiful and Elegant. Say hi to the wonderful Whitney Elizabeth Houston. I hope you are both Resting in Paradise.
i love Natalie so much! such a beautiful rich voice and such a classy elegant lady. no one coulda done it better except Whitney herself!
BEAUTIFUL IN ALL WAYS--RIP DEAR NATALIE AND WHITNEY
Who is still watching in October 2020??? 🙌🙌🙌
What a BEAUTIFUL, TALENTED,SOULFUL WOMAN,Natalie is a heartbreaker, takes your breath away.Darling you left us too soon.Sing with your Papa and the Angels in Heaven!Lovely ! Forever loved and missed!
So beautiful. I fell in love with her music with "Inseparable." Voice so crisp and clear.
Natalie's account of this in her book was really funny. She said she wanted to run off stage when she flubbed a lyric (which I didn't even notice and most other folks probably didn't either) but the dress was too tight. lmao. She was so real and down to earth.

I noticed her eyes when she realized she sang the wrong words. But i remember when this aired and my thought after she finished was "She did good!"

MelodyMaker151 As a singer I noticed immediately how she dropped her head after the first line of the song, realizing she sang the 2nd line first & she's desperately searching for the lyrics. She looked terrified! Then she just decided to go ahead and sing the line twice and went for it, lol. Always loved her voice. She's "Unforgettable "❣️

Real Whitney fans know when the flub was, but she was a consummate performer and nailed it. This is a funny note that I didn’t know, thanks for sharing

Rest in peace Natalie, I am sad to know you're gone because my dream to watch you live in person is over.. yet heaven must be happy to gain another singing angel.
I bet the 2 super divas are rockin’ heaven like nobody’s business right now!! Natalie & Whitney, we still “Miss You Like Crazy.”
I miss Natalie so much. It took many years to come out of the shadow of her father. She also overcame some many demons, but look at her! Love to u my dear diva! 💋🎶🎤

Two great divas gone to heaven singing for the angels! Singers today need backup dancers, naked customes, and auto-tune. Miss those great singers who simply sang!
R.i.p Natalie. Another great is now gone, however your music will live on.

Here you can see why Natalie was not only compared with Aretha when she debuted. She was also compared to the then reigning queen of stage style, Diana Ross

I love that Whitney chose Natalie to take her place at the Oscars cause she was pregnant at the time. Natalie did forget the 1st line do I Have Nothing but she was such a pro, she picked it up again.

LOVE YOU NATALIE FOREVER!!!!!!
Both of them are gone, unbelievable.
Natalie was personally asked by Whitney to do this melody for Whitney was home her child. Natalie at the time had a husband who Whitney didn't care for because of his temper so Whitney nick named him "tick tick boom" lol. If u notice Natalie messed up on I have nothing (she forgot the words), she felt so bad she called whitney to apologize...Whitney told her she did fine and than ask Natalie how's "Tick Tick Boom" doing? LMAO
