i think Clover puts down their weapon on their own and lets Martlet go. Her dialogue suggests so too, she tells Clover shes done attacking and asks to put down their weapon and thanks them for doing so afterwards. Clover is more of a person than Frisk, like how they give us only 1 dialogue option at the end of pacifist. and seems theyre attached to Martlet more than anyone, they look into her mind just to find something to justify killing her. Theyre shaken by her death in Neutral and pull a gun on Flowey without our input because of it. They also tell her to leave in Flawed pacifist before fighting Asgore so she doesnt have to watch them die or kill Asgore.

@@camoherePapyrus is not the strongest, he's just able to control his strength better. Plus, stat comparisons between Undertale and UTY are irrelevant to make, since UTY makes the stats actually accurate unlike Undertale

@@camohere If I recall correctly, Papyrus has a fan-fight together with Sans in a fan-game called Rejuvenation. Papyrus was saved by Alphys by Determination, so technically, that fight counts.. in some degree.

I like how she realizes that Clover is doing all of this for 5 fallen kids

Is it just me...or does the end music sound like it's saying... "everything they told me...really was true. Can't trust a human....are they all like you? Your time is running, my time is fleeting, your strength is stunning...why am I yielding..?" Idk. Just the end part of the music without the words.

Just wanted you to know, that most of the community calls the ‘Genocide Route’ the ‘Vengeance Route’ due to the fact that it would *still* be justice, as the monsters killed 5 human children before Clover came, specifically in search for these 5 missing children.

They openly allow and want Asgore to claim the human souls because it means their freedom, and Asgore outright tells them that his plan is to shatter the barrier with seven souls and then crush humanity, a goal which most of monster kind is supportive of.

This is one of the greatest Undertale songs I have ever heard. Not just UTY, Undertale in general.

This song is so catchy and really encapsulates the vibe of this route. It's got a really memorable melody and is incredibly well made. I can't stop listening to it!

your production and visuals are always INSANE and this one especially is just. gorgeous. i've always loved how you use reverb and layering - with genocide routes, this REALLY works. i always get goosebumbs AAEUUHHHHH god. as someone who didn't have the heart to play through genocide, this hits hard. because martlet cares so much,,, AAH anyways amazing work i ADORE IT

I love how along with how catchy the song is, it sort of fits the mood of the genocide route and Martlet taking action against Clover despite the fact they are a child. This is so well done!

I like how after Martlet went 'Zenith', she uses phrases from the bible, like 'know your place is behind me' and 'harden my heart'.

Such a delightful performance, portraying the pain of the Vengeance route... I feel like kind of a masochist for enjoying this so much, but hey, I'll never complain from more good Martlet content. Love that scatterbrained sweet bird ^^ Thank you for making this! ^^

This is absolutely beautiful! Ive always wanted to hear martlets view on things, not only because she's my favorite character, but because she essentially works as both sans and papyrus, being friendly and companion like in Pacifist kinda like papyrus is in Undertale, except a little bit indirectly, appearing only through phone calls, Aswell as passing judgement onto you in genocide like sans does, trying to bring justice for all that have fallen Point being, this represents her personality and causes for her actions in genocide really well and I'm looking forward to the next song ^^ thanks for this masterpiece!

Wasn't expecting another UTY song. But it's a treat to hear it anyway! It's interesting that your voice can create songs, ranging from what you did here to "Me Instead", a song from yours I TRULY love! The psychological conflict that Martlet lives during the Vengeance Route is a terrifying thing. How she believed everyone could be good-intentioned, even the humans, who were always seen as ruthless and violent by monsterkind... The way she has to go out of her way to change her thoughts, to be brave enough to face the harsh reality... The way the song progresses, as Martlet watches her dear world succumbing to chaos. Until, at last, she finally learns that justice needs to be delivered. It kinda reminds me of Alphy's actually, specifically in that neutral ending where there's that line of her saying "I really should've killed you when I had the chance". Both of them realised that something needed to be done when all hope was lost, and that heroic aspect that characters like these have, is just breath-taking! All in all, congratulations on another sorrow and depressing song! Don't know if you'll do more UTY, but if not that's fine too, I'll be curious to see what you cook next nonetheless!

Martlet is my favorite Undertale Yellow character, so to see her get her own song from my 2nd favorite route in the game, this was certainly a treat. It's everything I want in a song. It's catchy, it has meaning, and it's quality. Nice job.

I will still never understand why in undertale, the genocide is the bad ending and the pacifist is the good ending yet I will never understand why UTY flips that on its head, the genocide is the good ending (you live and complete your mission) while in pacifist you just... die.

I actually like it! flipping it on it's head means so much more for the pacifist ending, where yes Clover dies... but it's for the good of the people they've come to understand, knowing that giving up their life is beneficial for everyone. With the Genocide ending in UTY, I find it to be just as empty as Undertales regular genocide route, because no one really is benefitted at all, not even Clover. Sure they get their revenge, but obviously it will never be enough to satisfy them, knowing that they can never truly avenge the dead children.

Honestly the fact that the only way Clover can keep themself from being doomed by the narrative is eradicating 90% of the underground and taking control of the timeline makes it even more clear just how much Clover's fate was sealed when they jumped down Also, I wouldn't call the Geno Route a "good ending" because it is for Clover, sure, but for *everybody else,* even the humans (since this will only bolster the monsters' resolve to fight in the war, possibly having someone like Undyne take charge), it's an awful ending

Honestly, I think is the only song I've heard that works better on 1.5x speed

Honestly, I may be a weenie or something, but I will never understand people who choose to complete the game, any game, with an objectively bad ending, such as genocide in YT or YT Y, for example. You obviously love the game and it's characters if you got to the end, so why would you in your personal playthrough do such thing? Obviously, content creators are bound to get all the endings, in order to get most content and/or out of the game, but others? Why?

As someone who did genocide before pacifist, it's kind of a funny thing. It's a mix between morbid curiosity (Just how bad can things get, what did the devs account for, what are the limits of what you can do), but another thing with UTY that made me love it is the fights. Geno Ceroba has to be one of my favorite fights, and it's something I always look forward to It's a bit weird, the best way I can describe it is like how people watch horror movies despite knowing the characters they're watching will likely get hurt or even die

I assume by "bad ending" you mean bad for the characters, not story wise? and to answer the question, it's nice to kill sometimes. idk how to explain it, it just lets me feel evil without real life consequence. obviously there's the in game consequence but that's all part of the fun of it

When she said "for a child/killer like you" I fully though she was gonna say "should burn in hell", but honestly, I kinda respect not doing that. Also, it's strange that there's a reference to protocol but not the other songs. Like, you could have added remedy and retribution at that one part where she lists off things in the second half.

i purposely used different kinds of words to allude to the nature of "remedying" her past actions, by not running away from Clover! Using all three (or four, if you count Apprehension) song titles would make the song and lyrics sound a little more cheesy... and harder to rhyme since none of them fit well together. I like to have the essence of the character come through first and foremost, rather than having the song be all winks and nods and references :)

I've been watching this ever since release, and along with "Me, Instead" it's one of my favourites! I found you through The Justice In Your Soul, and haven't turned badk since. You're doing great! If you're able to give a response though, have you entertained making a song for Starlo or Dalv? Or are you only making songs for the final bosses of the routes? Just a question I'd like an answer to, since I'm interested in seeing your interpretation of them both :) (also Dalv deserved more screen time but I'm biased bc he's my favourite) Once again, great song, and take your time to indulge in other fandoms too!
