Delugs now make a great rubber strap with deployant clasp. I use it on my cartier tank.

That’s exactly my point 👏 well done my friend that’s how you enjoy your existing timepieces. My advice always buy high quality straps especially if you have expensive timepieces 👍🏼

Consider this look: I know vintage Subs use to come with Swiss Tropic Sport rubber straps. These included the uber cool oval hole straps that more or less defined the dive watch aesthetic in the 1970s and 1980s. Today if you want a genuine vintage Tropic Sport band it is going to cost hundreds of Euro, because these went out of production decades ago. However reasonable imitations are available for a modest price.
