aim up when you grab it. aim at the corner where the 4 windows meet right above the radio. that'll make sure you get the radio each time.

The video makes it seem so easy

failed the trick but at least got the radio stuck inside the bed in the process edit: i learned to do it almost every time, thanks

I think it should be mentioned that this trick is a whole lot easier if you make one bind that's "max_fps 30;save quick;load quick" and another that's "max_fps 300;save quick;load quick". Then you spam the first one to get through the wall, and finish with the last one to set your fps back to normal. I know this is mentioned in the BSG guide, but some people haven't tried BSG or know what it's about.

there's a difference between a tutorial and a documentation

I can't crouch for some stupid reason when I jump onto the bed and I have to take my finger off ctrl and then press down again for it to work, so very annoying

after it closes, when i jump i end up crouching

I sent you discord request bcs i've been trying to do this for 3 hours and I think I cant do it bcs of the version of the game, bcs I "get stuck" perfectly but cant manage to make the radio hit me like that. I think i am on the Source Unpack version but I see some differences comparing it to this video (the radio light color). Do you have an idea on what is not working?

Hello. If there isn’t a light on the radio, this means that you’re either playing an older version of the game (3420; since you’re on unpack), or you haven’t beat the game yet on the unpack version of the game. If you‘ve beaten the game and still haven’t gotten that radio, it may be because you had sv_cheats enabled while doing it. If you’re playing out of bounds-version 3420-then you’ll have to deal with using that annoying version of the radio and I can link a tutorial for that if you want.

I think so, definitely would infinitely be more inconsistent though

You can not, because to run this on PC you need to run a specific older version of the game or else most of this saveglitch/edgeglitch stuff doesn't work for inbounds. Now to do glitchless? i'm sure you could totally run that category on console, it'd be hard though. source- I'm an inbounds runner and currently learning this strat lol.

at least as far as i know this stuff doesn't work outside the "cracked" version of the game that speedrunners use.

@@CyBOXbeatbox from what I heard portal was recently updated patching various glitches, but knowing valve they probably didnt change anything on the console version, just like they haven't updated the Xbox versions of l4d, csgo, tf2, etc

@@darstrockjm5690 huh, guess it depends which version the console game runs. But also i mean to do saveglitch in general you have to bind hotkeys to saveload at the proper speed consistently. Idk if console version will allow for coding custom keybinds in the console window.

I can't figure out how to do it right, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've been following the tutorial to a t

@@rcmac206 make sure you are 1. crouching on the back of the bed 2. jumping a bit after the door closes if you jump immediately after the door closes you won't get stuck
