    Great insight and completely get you about too fast for road use having owned a couple of other tuned cars. I think i will cap mine at stage 2 as a daily.

    Great review and very honest. Similar to some of the points Chris Harris when he compared a Pug 205 Rallye to a Porsche 911 R (bit extreme) a few years ago to illustrate you can have just as much fun driving a slow car fast as a fast car fast on the right roads without getting into trouble! because the power is so more accessible. its not all about 0-60 times. keep up the good reviews.

    Good review Mr Rambles. Wait until you get it on track, they punch above their weight even when standard so I can't imagine how it goes at your level. I am seriously considering Revo stage 2 when warranty is up so I can chop some 1M's on track.

    Brilliant review the RT330 is immense. I believe the rumours about revo no longer supplying the rt330 are true which is a real shame. Had to reassess my situation so I am going s280 in May. I think with stage 3 power you are hard pushed to find a better car for the money just my opinion.

    Harry Martin, I heard the rumour from a very good source, and Revo have removed the RT330 turbo from their website. The software in still available. Also SCC no longer list the RT330 on their website but do now sell the S280 which backs up the rumour. Although their maybe some dealers that have the RT330 in stock and any revo dealer will still be able to support the software. It is a shame cause it is a good bit of kit. But there is other option just do your research👍

    Hi, thanks for the honest video. Just out of interest what average mpg are you getting? Like you, mine’s a daily so if you say 15 that’s a deal breaker for me. If it’s still about 30 then I’m down the shop tomorrow lol. Keep up the good work. 🙂

  • @CarRambles

    Aha, I get between 26/30. I can get probably 40+ on a 70mph cruise down a motorway. As I've said previously, mpg is all down to how you drive the car... Typically people get a stage 1/2/3/4 map... That makes them drive faster using more fuel... But if you drive normal you won't see that much of a difference from a stock car :)

    The way I understand the new rules on speeding is that 100+ on a 70 mph road is only 6 points and 150% of your weekly wage

  • @CarRambles

    @CarRambles

    To my knowledge 30mph over the speed limit is an instant ban if they wanna give it 🤷🏻‍♂️ Either way I'm not someone who wants points or a nice big fine aha

    Car Rambles don’t think anyone is 100% sure on the new speeding laws😂 and ye last think you want is 6 points would have to granny around everywhere for 3 years

    Chris ye but that would come under causing a accident by dangerous driving and ye 101 or more on a 70 is a disqualification for 7-51 days or 6 points and 150% or your weekly wage

    If it wasn't for making KZread videos and going through the different stages for video content would you say you would stay at stage 2? Would you say stage 2 is the perfect sweet spot for 99%Road driving?

  • @CarRambles

    @CarRambles

    3 жыл бұрын

    Yes if you drive quite spirited stage 2 is the best option. I personally drive normally and do large bursts.... So stage 3 is nice. Is it worth the money? That's for others to decide. I wouldnt go back to stage 2 due to my driving style but I know others drive on the limit alot on the roads and stage 2 is best for not losing you licence as quick

    Then your gonna love it and you won't end up killing someone or losing your license aha. The s270 is an incredible turbo. Basically zero lag compared to stock unlike the larger s280 etc. Great of you ever decided to track your car for a blast also :)

    I have the same noise. Been told it's the throttle body opening and closing and that's how they control the boost pressure. However I personally love the sound and don't care. Wouldn't want any other turbo lol

    30 mpg with squirts of fun. I can get way higher or way lower. Fully depends on the driving style.. pretty much all my tunes I could get the same mpg. However more power = faster driving more often...
