The Magnus Archives tries to stay relatively swear-free, and did so in peace and harmony for two years. Then, everything changed when Tim turned up.

My only unfulfilled wish for this amazing podcast is that we never got see Jon just read an actual complete bullshit statement. Just once I want to hear Jon feed the eye with the words "I asked the ghost what it wanted, what it was called, how it got here, and it leaned in and whispered in my ear, it's cold breath brushing against my face; ' yo mama',"

The only issue is that the reason Jon records these on is because paranormal, "real" statements won't transcribe digitally, so the only way this would happen is if some part of the statement was real

I was on the bus on the way to school for every episode in season one except for Angler Fish. I was in my hanging tent, in the middle of the night, outside, cuddled up with a blanket when I listened to that one and I love that memory.

Haha, that's episodic memory to you I still remember I listened to Anglerfish while I was at work (it was still early and I was alone and it hadn't been time to open yet) and it was great because it was like January/February and I just sat in a gloomy darkness hh Oh, and I like that it was raining afaik while I was listening to Do Not Open

I don't like taking orders from anyone, especially from men, but if Mike LeBeau asks me to put on some TMA merch for this TMA stream, you bet your ass I'm gonna watch it in my Magnus Archives hoodie.

Something I find funny and interesting is that Magnus in Latin means great. The Magnus archives, the great archives.

I genuinely love getting to hear the enthusiastic insight from an editor on the project. Talking about the writing & story is fun, but hearing you talk about the nuts & bolts of how a moment was designed is really quite interesting. It's a whole new perspective on what made TMA work as well as it did. I'm glad you could share this with us ^^ Also, Tim is 100% a Character Who Deserves To Say Fuck

Mike is such an audio nerd and I love it. This was fascinating to hear. You can tell how passionate he is and it really showed in TMA

My favourite Audio bit in the Magnus Archive has to be the Ambience for the Vast. the sound of a constant falling whistle with no notible end to the falling is perfect.

7:58 - "You're getting oolong? What a decision, someone's a season 5 watcher" 8:37 - THE BOI 28:07 - Mike tells us a secret secret about the background sounds in some of the episodes! 34:59 - I'm never gonna be able to unhear this now 37:30 - Mike's editor ears strike again lol 39:40 - *Jon: [In statement]* I have vague memories of Mike suggesting i slow down --- *Mike:* _Excuse me?_ 43:43 - The sound that was supposed to signify a power being used!! 57:16 - "Check out this drunk creeper, L-O-L" 3:29:10 - *Mike: [Listening to beginning of Epiphany]* Have we gone to a retirement home? I have listened to the whole series 3 times, and the earlier seasons even more (season 1 I'm well in to double figures) it's more fun and even better as you re-listen and spot threads you missed the first time around. I now want a podcast that does an episode by episode re-listen and analysis - the red string files.

Are those of us not on Patreon eventually going to be able to get access to the older behind the scenes? I'm sure there's more gems like "Breekon & Hope go to Boots" that the majority of us just don't get to see

I can’t describe how much I love watching this but that DAMN noise when someone cheers bits is the most ANNOYING sound ever

Addicted... listen morning and night with my daughter. Have to say though... one ends of disliking everyone in the play. Disappointing in that regard. There is little rational explanation as to why there is such hostility against Jon. I dislike him because he sounds so clueless, given the criticality of his character... but that's just irritation... not like Tim or Melanie.
