Who would have thought the AL Central division has many good teams with potentially being able to get 3 of those teams in the playoffs. Still a long season but KC vs Cleveland will have many great games looking ahead with the central division title on the line

What I don’t understand is how the guardians are still playing so good with bieber and other players injured. Someone in the Cleveland scouting and development department must have an IQ of 200.

@@jmoneymaker96 right! They’ve had so many guys step up it’s crazy. Carrasco and Lively have actually given the team fairly decent innings, and McKenzie and Bibee have thrown well this year. And so many of their young guys have been playing with no fear. Not to mention their bullpen continues to be great! You’d think the injuries would have slowed them down but they just keep winning…fingers crossed with Kwan and Williams rehabbing and coming back soon that they can continue this run!

But the Royals are right there with the Guards, and the Twins aren’t far behind! It’s been awesome to see the central playing this competitively.

Kyle Isbel, like his teammate Alec Marsh, is a badass. Took that ricochet straight to the face and stayed on his feet. Hope he’s doing well. I know he’ll be back soon, dude’s tough as nails.

Oof. I didn't watch the game but read a recap of it online shortly after the game ended. So I knew it was coming because the recap have the entire situation (bases loaded, first pitch) .... but even then it was tough to watch and I grimaced long and hard.

@@balbarith45 Franco signed a huge deal, was going to be a cornerstone of the franchise then early in the 2023 season it was discovered that he was having relationships with underage girls in the DR. Allegedly girls as young as 14 or 16. This was a massive story and then everyone in the media stopped talking about it due to fear, legality, etc.

Manny Rodriguez was Optioned to Durham Bulls on 05/20/24 his last two outings unfortunately were not great, maybe he will find his stuff again, hope this helps 👍
