I grew up in KC & started following the Royals big-time since 1970. Lou Piniella was rookie of the year...God I'm old😂...Have been living in ATL since '96 & even though I'm happy being a Braves fan, my strong loyalty has always been to KC! The Braves could "learn" a few hitting techniques from the Royals so far this year! That last stint with the Padres was painful to watch 😅

Crazy thing to me is that the only free agent that's making a big impact so far has been Lugo. Core of this team has grown up there.

It's really easy to explain if you had paid attention to the offseason. Overhauled coaching staff, 100+ million in free agent signings, revamped rotation and bullpen.

We must protect this version of the Royals at all costs.

He's got plenty of power, He's got a VERY level swing and doesn't try to lift the ball a whole lot. He can hit 30-40 home runs, but that's not really why he's on the team, he's more of a 25-30 HRs, 30-40 stolen base guy, and hits around, if not over .300
