Yea refs really tried their best to give this game to the Celtics. However, Pacers should never have threw this game in the last possession when 3 up with 10 seconds to go, should just call TO to advance the ball and even after losing the ball, to foul up 3. This was a really bad loss for the Pacers cos they have the game fully in their grasp and lost it.

The refs have been crap all season, but I don't want to hear any of it on this game. The Celtics are the best team at defending without fouling in the NBA and it's driven by their defensive scheme and personnel, NOT favoritism: they switch more than almost any other team in the league and rarely double/trap, leading to few fouls; and they have very disciplined defenders up and down the lineup. Every missed call for the Pacers was followed by one for the Celtics. Especially with a game this close when a C's fan can say that Tatum and White took stupid shots that should have lost them the game, the Pacers have no excuse. It's just the way it goes. On to game 2!

I mean the lack of awareness from Haliburton & the Coaching staff lost them this game. Even though the refs did everything in their power to give Celtics this win, Indiana still was going to make out with the win if they had of just managed the clock better down the stretch of regulation. ERROR 1: Haliburton chucking up a 3 while being up 3 with a minute left in the game and :15 secs left on the shot clock is just a horrible IQ decision. That missed shot lead to a foul call on Siakim off the rebound, which sent JB to FT line (BTW, that should’ve been a foul on JB, but the refs were team green tonight). ERROR 2: Hali dribbling the ball off his foot, where Nesmith dives to keep the ball in-bound but couldn’t. Haliburton has to slow down at the end of the game, especially when in the lead. Why would you be rushing, the time is on your side. Protecting the ball is more important than making a shot at that point. ERROR 3: The horrible inbound. Why are we forcing to get the ball in on their end of the court?! Call a timeout to advance the ball. These 3 bonehead plays all happened under a minute left in regulation…SMH…How do the Pacers expect to win this series playing with no sense at all. This was an atrocious loss, and it just got worse when they got into overtime. This was a total F in end game execution. And a fire-able offense. Rick better wake up!
