They're just hunks of metal with computer programming. You could just change it's programming to be whatever you want it to be. Even make millions of "BT"s. Still a good story. But for other reasons.

This is a tricky thing, especially once BT starts trying to talk to you during combat. Balancing combat and story when you're trying to press all of the buttons at once can get a bit chaotic

As someone who's played this game for years, the most important thing to remember is that it's not like anything you've played before. Good luck pilot.

The good thing about TitanFall 2 is that it makes you feel like a badass with every little thing that you do. Simply wall-running while reloading makes you feel like a boss. Every single animation and combat sequence just produces so much dopamine.

(KZreadrs abandoning everything to become Fortnite KZreadrs in particular pissed me off. Never watched a Fortnite vid, never will), so to hear Luke talking about Apex Legends as if it's the hot shit is annoying to me, personally, especially in such a great game as Titanfall 2.

At the ranges you're meant to engage in by using good movement, ADS is unnecessary 90% of the time. The recoil is a little extreme to encourage you to learn to move through enemy positions like the pilot in the opening cinematic instead of just sitting and popping shots. The center dot in your hipfire reticle is very accurate, which is necessary for shooting in midair and while sliding Movement speed is calculated only by momentum, so equipment has no effect. Short wallruns and slides increase momentum, but sprinting and jogging slows you down. The more time you spend attached to a surface where there's traction, the more speed you lose. Think of a baseball being thrown through the air, then rolling to a stop in the dirt Melee is a two-way street. If you mistime it, the enemy will counterattack for half your health unless you back off You can disengage from ziplines and wallruns early with the crouch button, allowing you to open fire on your way to the surface below Your speed when wallrunning is calculated by an aggregate of your entry momentum and the direction you push your stick. Anything northward of around 45 degrees from your body's azimuth will keep you at full speed, and pushing harder into the wall will slow you down for better accuracy or to give you time to line up a counter jump Now that you've seen what the most important controls are, you can customize everything about your control binding and sensitivity curves, even on console. This takes a lot of fiddling and trade-offs to get right. I recommend some variant of bumper jumper so you can aim in midair

You need to talk to BT for the full effect of the story, and I’m not saying this as a fanatic it just makes the experience so much more moving and really brings out the dev teams story-telling abilities

Game is awesome, and I love seeing your reactions to this. Make sure you turn on subtitles, respond to BT when he talks to you(you missed some) and read Cooper's logbook between missions, before you press A to start. Love you man!

Tips for gameplay! As everyone’s saying, dialogue is important so keep an eye out for that. Also, if you don’t jump off a wall soon enough you will slide off it and won’t be able to travel as far. And as for the difficulty, I recommend getting used to the Titan mechanics the best you can as the fights get very difficult later on :)

Also the name of the game "apex legends" comes from the "apex games" which is the tournament that you fight in apex legends, and the name of the apex games comes from the faction that started the tournament called the "apex predators" which just so happens to be one of the factions that you can join in the multiplayer in Titanfall 2. Yeah sorry for spoon feeding you the lore, but yeah just like halo Titanfall has a LOT more lore than you probably think.

Also, they are in the Campaign, the IMC hired them as mercenaries to fight against the militia, those are the first guys that you kill, which is why they all talk about just getting paid

Something that really struck me about the game was the sound design. All of the munitions sounded strangely accurate and really punchy. Even some things, like the firecracker like eruption of some of the grenades and the thuds of heavy weapons and plasma are all so clean and perfect.

Omg, I just finished my first play of this game yesterday. Such an amazing game, easily one of the best games of the last decade. Shame it got released between Battlefirld 1 and Call of Duty at the time or it would've got a bigger audience. I think you're gonna love this.

The Spectre is a military robot. Pathfinder is a modified MRVN civilian robot. You see those in the game too with the screen on their chests and the happy smiley faces.

When you exit a wall run sliding will give you more momentum and on your next boss fight when you see the health bar go from orange to like a yellow and black line punching will execute and hold melee behind an enemy to execute

When you call your titan in the simulator Lastimosa: "Its not the real thing" Lastimosa giving you his titan: "this is the real thing" nice touch there

Either you're gonna love the teleporting mission part or not. But to me, thats my fave campaign mission, followed by the chasing of the core and the "Flying Ace" pilot boss fight (he keeps showing off by flying all over the map) xD

You should check out the Sniper Elite series. They’re WWII third person sniper games. Super fun, it’s main focus on the game is the slow motion bullet effect when shooting someone. I think you’d enjoy a lot

Finally, FINALLY. (And if you sneak up behind some one you can do a special stealth attack)

You did it dude. You fucking did it!, now I'm going to have to buy this game just to play the campaign myself. Haha, you were so excited about everything you got me hyped up.

I like how holding the rifle to the side is the only unrealistic in a game where you're not only in space but also fight with mechs.

You're gonna have a good time with this game, such a good story. I would also recommend more playing this game on mouse and keyboard, or just lowering the difficulty down, because hard mode can get pretty aim intensive later on.

Try chaining sliding into your movement it keeps you moving quick. Also holding melee behind an enemy will trigger an “execution” that’s nice and flashy. Just some stuff I thought you might like to know.

Don’t forget to do the dialogue options. You can get some pretty funny results and helps you to know BT more

Your booster is what carries you when wall running if you jump before it’s runs out you will get a boost of speed.
