My son was a royal marine and he served across the globe, sadly I lost him to cancer and I’m more than proud of him and his achievements. Two Marines played the last post at his funeral and we all wept. The people who gave this post a thumbs down are worthless idiots who would never stand and fight for our country, they would run and hide like cowards and they hide behind their computers. Our Royal are the best in the world (Fact) and I am one of millions who love and respect them. Well done all our Royal Marines, so proud of you. 👏👏👏👏👏👏🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Watching this brings back the heartbreak and emotions which have continued everyday for the past eight years. Utterly destroyed at the 174 dislikes, I hope whoever the 174 are they don't have to bury one of the children. If you dislike or don't agree agree, don't say anything. This was for my beautiful son

From WWII to Korea to Vietnam to Beruit, most all I didn't know and 1 that I served with, they were all my brothers. While not as elaborate as my Royal Marine brothers here we showed our fallen Marines and their families great respect. Well done lads.

Dear Rosemary, I grew up in a Navy family. Uncles, Cousins, and most of our family friends were Navy. I'm 70 now, and have been to so many Navy funerals it's just left a dent in me. I started crying for you thinking about the loss you've suffered. It's hard for me to listen to pipes, or drums, or bugles. Remember, God loved soldiers. Recall the Centurion that trusted Jesus to just speak the word, and he knew his daughter would be healed. For those haters that gave this a thumb down, God will give them a thumb down someday. Be well......

As an ex Royal Marine Commando, this means so much to me. i lost Friends in northern ireland and even more whe we assaulted the twin sisters in the Falklands. For those that gave this a thumbs down I hope you never volunteer for your countries armed forces and then go through combat and lose friends and comrades that have become closer than your own family, ity tears you apart, stops you wanting to know people or get close to people in case they too die and leave you. even know 39 years after the Falklands I still suffer with PTSD and the last post and the band of the royal marines can still bring me to tears.

You can talk about the Guards and any other regiment you can think of, but every time I see and hear the Royal Marines it sends a shiver of pure pride down my back. I've seen and heard the Top Secret Drum Corps who are absolutely fascinating to watch - and why not? The difference is that the TSDC are not full-time soldiers - their business is drumming, and they are truly spectacular. The RM's on the other hand, are full-time serving soldiers and have to fit their music into a very busy military schedule. Wherever they go in the world they are held in awe and great respect, just as they really deserve. For timing and precision, they are unmatchable! Britain has good reason to be proud of such men.

In remembrance to our friend Msgt Jeffrey Briar. A marines marine, dedicated to being a great leader and to work his hardest to accomplish a work ethic and love for each person. Funny, outgoing, considerate, smart. We miss him and hope that ever marine laid to rest is at peace. God is over all protecting all. Happy Birthday Marines Semper Fidelis :)

We had our birthday on the 28th October, 355 years old. Your friend, your brother sounded like a great man. I come from over the water and we don't use Semper Fidelis but, I understand the meaning of In all things faithful. We would simply offer a hope in Rest easy Royal. PMPT
