I served alongside these men. I can tell you, that apart from every one of them being a skilled musician in his own right, they rehearse as a band until everything is perfect. They leave nothing to chance. Awesome! These men are the drummer/buglers of The Corps of Drums of Her Majesty's Band of the Royal Marines! This is the sort of tonal balance I'd expect of the side drums in a pipe and drum corps, with a single cranked snare drum for the principal side and standard snare drums for the balance of the section. Premier® has the 0189-RQL 28"x14" bass, 1072-RQL 16"x12" tenor, and 0097-S 14"x12" snare available; adapting the HTS 800 14"x12" free-float (for the principal side) to the 0913 snare/tenor sling (don't know if the 1903 lug-mount hook will do at the batter counterhoop) and 1902 leg rest might be a trick, however.
