Had mine over a year, 4500 miles. 1st big service last month. No issues at all, ridden in all sorts of conditions too so through floods, ice and snow. Absolutely solid. A cool thing I noticed is the switches look like the fire select/ safety on a gun 😊 very cool wee bit of design that.

Am subscribed purely for the scenic roads you are lucky enough to have access to, no matter what bike you are on. Thanks for my regular “fix”. Keep them coming. John CB500f.

I’ve done over 5,500 miles on mine now. It’s a great bike and I’m enjoying it. I ordered the OEM panniers back in February and they still haven’t arrived yet and I’m told that they won’t be here until June. Today I have cancelled my order and have now ordered the Givi ones (WL900) like yours. I’ve fitted a gold DiD chain and a 16T gearbox sprocket, which gives the bike a more relaxed engine speed in the nationals. Keep the good videos coming.

Many years ago My wife and l would stay..(house sit).. in my sister-in- law's house in Dronfield...she would holiday in Majorca...We would spent our time meandering about the Yorkshire countryside..In our Volvo....A far cry from the congestion of living near London.. Today Pateley Bridge. l can honestly say if it were not for deciding to migrate to España...where you live would have been be my first choice. Although I'm bound to say l could no longer 'hack' the weather...Thanks for the memories Dave...

Was at Appleyards last week for a service. The lovely people there let me borrow their Shotgun 650 for the day. Really like the bike, never ridden a royal enfield so was concerned about the power and weight but found it very enjoyable. Sadly for me as I have spinal damage found the bars too low and after 20 mile ride home was in pain. Still love the bike but would have to get bar risers if I end up getting one. Fantastic video and very informative as always

Hey up TBW, great videos lately, just catching up, had a great run the other day through the trough of bowland then onto Ingleton ribblehead and Hawes, ( great fish n chips ) back through Dent, Sedburgh, Kirby Longsdale, Ingleton, Settle, and home to east lancs. Absolutely glorious.....😊

Think I met the very same Tony at Pateley Bridge on his classic 350. Said he’d only had it short time but had already added 500 miles to it..! 👍

TBW, I’ve noticed you have re-installed the SM larger screen ready for summer, but rode around winter with the short screen😉 The larger screen certainly adds more wind noise through your helmet microphone. Never noticed this before. And, my dear chap, the road ahead of your beautiful landscape is again being distorted with the screen. No issue now as I’m looking east & west.😎

That was a very nice ride out, Dave; lots of lovely scenery for us to enjoy. I like the look of the Super Meteor, but the one time I sat on one, my ancient hips were not at all happy with it. The other thing I'd struggle with now is the weight and length, as my backyard is very tight, there's a bit of a slope and I have to turn the bike around almost within it's own length. Still, you like it and that's all that matters.

Good on you mate! I have a Super Meteor and I love it to pieces 😍 I can highly recommend the YSS rear shocks. Also another KZreadr by the name of Teacher T Thailand has fitted the Hagon shocks to his Super Meteor and he is very happy with them. You can't go wrong with either I reckon 😃

I'm sure you know but "Teacher T" channel has replaced the shocks with Hagon and says it has transformed the bike.

I class at least 6 years ownership riding in all weather all year round the minimum time for a long term review . Having stated that ,in your case as any bike you own for more than a few months is likely to be traded in or flogged on , a review after about 3 months is long term .👍

Love my super meteor 650 solid as a rock comfy ,you can easily work on it and customisable and a brilliant price .👍

Loving the videos and just subscribed! Really really informative! Im thinking of getting this as my first bike, do you recommend that as a first time rider? Also what has the body been like with all the weather (is it rusting in some parts?)

I've now seen the hard bags video and seen Teachers videos on his seat modifications and Hagon shocks review. I'd suggest the RE could an ipdate to their Super Meteor Touring edition

3 months in and I’m loving mine. Can’t figure out how the Tripoer App will Record Trip. It’s there in the app but it’s doing nowt.

Are we witnessing the start of Hull's Angels? (I know you're in Leeds, but that's not as punny).

Would you still like the bike if yude kept it as standard? For many owners I would think that the original purchase price of the bike would be a considerable outlay of money enough to expect a good enough product.

@felixVanDiemen I been to service point and they told it will be like till u finish ur 1st service...what I could I do to avoid jerk in 1st and 2nd gear...service manager tried to clutch adjustment..but still not able to avoid that jerk

I won't ever want one of these, because of...reasons!
