Still be grateful of seeing the Vespa gts being done ,got my Acf50 but very apprehensive of doing mine without seeing someone else do theirs !!!

@andrewbytheway459 Sorry, today was to be the day for ACF50ing the Vespa. I went out to the shed where it's all cocooned in blankets. It was looking so shiny and new, I just couldn't bring myself to start squirting ACF50 all over it. I'm going to leave this job until next winter, when it has a few more miles on the clock and is looking a little more battled scarred. Sorry for the disappointment.

@@MotorcycleFettlers No worries, mine is also cosy in a garage , I will tackle it in spring though as although my scooter is mint condition it's a 2016 plate ,never ridden in wet conditions but want to keep it that way

Couldn't agree more. I do not go out in the wet but I know that it just needs to look at some damp and will start rusting. I'll give it just one year of not getting all gunked up. Good luck.

The bench is super handy, for applying the acf 50. I did mine the other week, down on hands and knees kneeling on a cushion. I didn’t have the aerosol can. I got the bigger plastic bottle, with smaller pump spray. So applied to a jay cloth and applied. Awaiting my touring seat, (getting professionally 30mm reduced, and will replace my low seat) So will apply when I swap over the seats. But great job, think I will get get a old fitted sheet, and do back wheel your way. I use waterless wash n wax in summer to clean bike, and got a habit of over spray on rear disc 😂 Cheers. Wee Mark😊

Yes, it is helpful. It's a small shed so we spend a lot of time moving the bikes around. We'll be doing the Vespa soon, as these are known rust buckets and I'm sure it will just rust away from being sat in the Camerman's shed. I think you're right to get the big pot of ACF50, and transferring it to your own spray bottle. The touring seat is definitely a winner.

XCP clear coat is supposed to be a lot better than ACF50.
