For the loop that goes around your frame just use some silicone air tubing as used on fish tanks, it id small and very durable. It is the best tubing for such applications.

That's interesting Bruce 👍 Great demonstration too, my friend got a stick trapped in his motocrosser and when he reached down to get it out, he lost the end of his finger in the chain. Serves him right for taking the sprocket cover off to save weight!

Interesting, never saw that. Speaking of seeing, a minor comment. When you film, many times all we see is your arms and hands and not the place where the work and technique are. But, just a commment, this is and interesting “hack” and need to think about that. Thanks!
