really love this band, but since they play with a metronome because of the recorded backing vocals, the song (wich is good) feels slow and unenergetic especially in the verse.. still love it but i think they have to take a backing member to do backing vocals/layering, so they can rock the shit out of their songs !

I'd love them to have live members to do those layering vocals or something else, so they can give more lively performance without having to hassle themself with devices and electronics. But, their price might go up due to overhead costs... so... Well I guess I'll stick with this duo.

argafro He said in an interview recently all his basses were custom made by fender to be shortscale. This one is a jag but he's got all sorts. His bass he uses for Hook, Line & Sinker has 2 wound strings on top and 2 thin strings on bottom. That's how he does those super high bits in the verses and then super low bits in the chorus.

How would that work? The samples are set to a certain BPM, if they're playing faster then the sample it would be out of time, they're playing to a click track.

Greendore they don’t play to click, the backing vocals are all triggered by the drummer for many of the songs off their second album
