    @Roy Jones mike tyson will be attacking with hook punches mostly, which means he'll need to get up close to you, therefore use straight jabs to attack him from a farther distance.

    This right here is inspiring. From the beginning Roy Jones looked it slow but then leading up to the fight he started to look like the Roy Jones of old he was getting his speed back. My opinion this is the greatest workout video of all time whenever I don't feel like going to the gym I look at how Roy Jones got his self back in shape.

  • @curtismcneil8695

    @curtismcneil8695

    3 жыл бұрын

    Yes, I agree I mean he's still fast yes but those punches ain't gonna hurt Mike. Roy looks too big in his midsection. He needs to be able to use angles and move around as much as he can because Mike if he comes out hard and quick will get tired after a few rounds. I don't know that Roy's jab will be stiff enough to Keep Mike at Bay. I can't see Mike being patient early on unless he truly holds back and pulls his punches which I doubt he will do. Roy use to be so fast that he could throw a left hook from the outside and hit his opponent just like he was throwing a left jab. I just can't see him having the kind of mobility at his age that you need to have to beat a bigger stronger fighter like Tyson. We know Mike is gonna be straight forward so Roy gonna have to fight.

As you said, his feet and body were in the exact same place, while his hands were the only body parts moving; and they moved fast as you said-so how could you call him "Too slow" when his not moving in the first place and the only thing he is moving is something you considered fast? 😅🤣😂

    Might be too fast for Tyson to get in close position (which is good). Jones should consider how to escape Tyson’s angled approaches. Tyson never fared well with people who knew how to use a jab and keep distance...Jones might be able to do that with speed...great work.

    Roy mike had the trainer ina. Body cover and was punching the cover u re punching hands... U know the difference.... Is very big difference.....i think roy is good.... If the fight will be an exhibition just do it soon.... No need in postponing amd canceling.... If it will be a try for knockout thingy then it ss a different story.....i grew up with mike tyson but really does not interest me who wins....i know what his style can do....there are no surprises for us.... Best wishes....

    Like politics , everyone has an opinion. But if you look at mike Tyson . He has sleep ,stamina and power. Even in his legs he rhythm and coordination. Like both fighters but I think mike is gonna take him under 5 rounds.

    I don't know... Its fast and all but it's not the same Roy. He looks like a fast and fit middle aged man if you know what I mean. Something is just gone. And that something is those incredible reflexes, that mad fast twitch he used to have. Tyson on the other hand somehow looks younger of the two while training. Watch Mike hit that bag some years ago. It's still hard but there is that element of push. And look at those gunshots now. He sounds like Pacquiao of the heavyweight division.

They're both old and would not be able to do a 12 round match that's why it isn't a 12 round match. Tyson's videos are edited not to show when he's tired, there's no full footage on either fighter training recently I believe

    It will be interesting. He might be able to pick Mike apart with those punches. He’s gotta focus on a hard snap on his jab and use that a lot to keep Mike away. Roy is Captain Hook but I think the long straight shots that will get him the win. You don’t want Mike getting in close, Mike will take his head off if he gets in close. It’s a interesting match up, and to bad we gotta wait till November now. Should have already went down

    Ending with a lead hook naturally places you back to your stance. Ending with the rear shot puts your rear hips forward, so if you're pulling back to your stance, might as well throw a lead hook while you're pulling back

    I am a huge Tyson fan, and.a jones fan these guys at 50 are faster and stronger than some 25 year olds. But I always keep it real. They must have come to a dission to really have an exibition. Watch all tysons first videos and way h his videos now, he is relaxed he has on sneakers he is not sharp he is getting work in but he has backed off just like he used to do before he started getting beat. I just watched a video of him teaching mayweather on the tyson ranch what the numbers on the bag mean while he was grabbing the blunt wrap . Now I seriously hope I am wrong because I want to see these two get it on at any age . But the stall in jones for ( more money) and his recent comments about him making a mistake on fighting Mike , may have had a backroom discussion on just putting on a show and having fun . Also on that video that is only three weeks old of Tyson showing mayweather the numbers on the bag and explained to him what they are comments are disabled .

    I know he's punches correctly but I advise him not to take his eyes off Tyson. He's depending on speed he doesn't have anymore. I see a easy knock down after his (power) punches. He needs to stop practicing for speed and train for technical cardio strength and foot work. His speed is gone and not gonna hurt Tyson. I hope he knows what he's doing. But I got my money on Tyson...
