Have you gotten into the real world lately? Around the world, a majority of homes have a single mother as the chief, and families with a both a father and a mother as just as likely to develop various types of dysfunctional relationships, in some cases they are even more likely... I wasn't going to step in this one, but I can't stand when people put excessive value in traditional family structures, reinforcing the stigmas other types of families have put on them by others...

The family in general was so cooperative and clever, getting the hang of it so quickly. I think it was more of rookie owner mistakes than anything.

Mastitis love to learn new things and can be easily trained if the human doesn't get stubborn. I don't crate my dogs after about 8 months old and have never really had issues. I did let a couple of them get real spoiled and they absolutely took over the house while I was sick but soon as I was up again they soon went back to me being the boss. When you are not in control they will control themselves with their own priorities lol

This was so refreshing. Everyone working together as a team. Kids saying they'll step up more now that they're not so intimidated. Mom wasn't passing blame; she did her part too. Just excellent

They seem like a very sweet family who was just a little unprepared for a dog. Glad that Victoria could help them.

I think this has been the only sane family on the show 😂

Beautiful pup. Beautiful family. The mom looks more like a sister than a mother to those kids.

Oh nooo the son was so depressed I could feel that! But I also love the family picture where everyone forced a smile while struggling with the dog 😂

You know, she said she wanted a dog for security purposes, but I think he made it easier for people to break in. I also think that this owner was very open to Victoria's ideas, which is good.

You can tell momma doesn't want him to be away from her .. I don't blame her he's precious

I like seeing when owners as family know there is a problem, and actively work together to fix it. Beautiful.

that was a classy family with so much respect for one another and no one blamed anyone for anything, that was what made it easy to overcome the issue. I liked all of them, prince was a sweetheart too. even though he doesn't pay the mortgage.

This is the nicest family. Kind to there dog and loving to one another.

rutituti678 Thank so much. We had another great day and she was smarter than yesterday. She is exactly like the Utube puppies. So much fun and playing games. So easy to train. I forget she is so young. I never expected this chance and I am making sure she gets solid basic obedience. I want her to be welcome around people and animals. She makes me look good cuz she learns so quickly. Cheers.

@@lycidasxwerewolf some of cesars training methods arent ethical or smart. He's had cases of food aggression on his show and his method included staring at the dog and getting into their face. Which resulted in him getting bit. Wouldnt recommend most of his training advice.

Victoria is one hell of a person. Not only does she help families to love their dogs but she genuinely cares for the people she is trying to help. Wow. Not many humans like that

My dog loves going in his crate. Most often I'm having to lure him out as he's all comfy and snuggled 😂

Mines, I set it up nice and comfy. And every time it’s time to go in, I tell her to get in the cage. She goes in, but I play with her a little bit with her in it, so she doesn’t mind going in. Sometimes, she goes in on her own when she doesn’t want to be bothered.

It's me or the Dog saw a lot of comments about women spoiling small dogs... so uploaded a bunch of videos of women spoiling big dogs... lol dog equality, ya'll.

It's a general trend. If a small cute looking dog annoys the heck out of family and neighbourhood, there is a good chance that a woman spoils a dog rotten. Men tend to have large powerful trophy dogs if they want to stroke their ego (or two or three ...), woman do that too, but guys are even worse to chose such dogs. That owner was at least not on an ego trip, she got the dog as "protection". The burglar was only after her property and the dog likely cost her more damage than a burglar could cause. She would have needed a small dog that is trained to give an alert when strangers come and stay at the property. And ideally that dog does not eat any food he or she finds outside.

It was explained that they didnt have a choice but to crate tbe dog due to his destructive behaviour. They didn't want to do it but you cant exactly let a dog like that destroy your home

We have a crate for our Newfoundlanddog on vacation. On a campsite there are many sounds and people so the crate is her relax place without sounds or light. We put a blanket over there and she loves going in sometimes.

Mom just looks like a third sibling! Wow

What a lovely family they are.

Why do people go from 'let the dog do whatever it wants' to 'let's call in a top expert on behavioural training.'? There are such things as basic obedience classes for dogs. Most of the pet stores I know and pretty much all adoption centres have pamphlets for them lying around. It 'only' took him a week to destroy that work-out bench. Translation: They let him go on destroying it for a whole week! And just to top off the madness: She got a dog for home protection after a burglary, and then she crates him when she leaves, making sure that the dog would be helpless to do ANYTHING if there was another burglary.

what happened? it's like i looked away for a second & the episode was over... MAN... i like the longer segments better.

I have a dog almost just like this but he learned his boundaries as a puppy from me and today he is one of the best dogs I've ever had.

The father of this household has a really great voice. The way he said 'king' sounded like a young James Earl Jones.

What a handsome brute! He's the general shape/size of my boy and I remember when he used to be destructive when he was a puppy. Never this bad but boy, am I sure glad my dog had boundaries and he never gets into trouble like that. lol I am happy they took the initiative to get their dog under control, he is clearly very smart!

Many dogs love to play with their mouths. Mine does it some times (very rarely now that she's older) and is very careful. I've never gotten as much as a scrape. Depends on the dog.

Yeah I have a 2 year old pit that likes to do that. Not once has he ever snapped at any human or another dog (that's the main reason we had to enroll him in obidence school. Dog gets way too amped up when hes around ANYTHING that breathes and he can be pretty damn destructive). Strangely been told by the daycare and dog trainer that my dog comes off very submissive, high arousal with alot of energy but not dominate. Anyways back to the mouth comment, my dog loves licking and occasionally sticking hands in hid mouth but never bites down. Not sure how to stop it and hes done that with the trainer we had and he wasnt concerned or even tried to get him to stop so I never cared to ask about it. Never had a dog before so I just figured other dogs typically play like that too.
