Or a plastic goldfish. Heck, if they really want it to move, they can get one of those battery-powered toy dogs. I had one as a kid and I remember it lasted a long time between battery changes. Granted, all it did was lift its head and open its eyes/put its head down and close its eyes (and also making sounds each time), but I still spent hours petting it. Sometimes I wouldn’t even bother to turn it on. I’d just want to pet it.

Tbh, I think Pit Bulls are an amazing breed of dog. But it really depends on how people train them. If they aren't trained properly, they will have signs of negative behavior. First dog owners should NEVER own a Pit Bull. Like these owners, they do not want to show responsibility to take care of a dog. In general, if they're going to be like that, they shouldn't have a dog.

Also, knowing they'd recently lost their father, I wonder if he's suffering from a very severe case of depression?? He's symptoms sound familiar to what my family has experienced with chronic depression. And his poor pittie, being as intuitive to their people's emotions probably just exacerbates the dog's misguided behavior.

As a pit bull owner I have to say...Bones is a beautiful dog!! And not many people seem to know this, but pit bulls are some of the smartest dogs ever...they crave teaching and mind games, they are feircly loyal to those they trust...which is why they are so easily manipulated into fighting.

American pit bull terrier is a pure breed of dog that was first registered by the ADBA around 1909. American pit bull terriers can also be registered with BFKC ,SDR and UKC. Although the UKC has lost alot of respect within the APBT community over recent years. Throughout history the American Pit bull terrier has been given difficult tasks. They were used for bull and bear batting which was made illegal in 1835 the breed was also used in the blood sport of dog fighting. This has had a huge impact on the breed not only in the way. They are perceived by people butAlso on the development of the breed itself. American pit bull terriers were commonly used in this activity for more than 75 years. Still to this day the breed is used for the brutal sport of dog fighting but it has become a lot less common. Dog fighting has been illegal since 1975 but the punishments given to people who broke this law were not all that severe. That changed in 2007 when it became a felony and much stiffer punishments were handed down to those involved in dog fighting. Over what was near a century the American pit bull terrier was used in this way. With the people who participated always looking for better and better dog's. So they would select the dog's that did the best and breed them. Selective breeding has been done with all purebred dog's weather they were selected by the way they took or how well they performed. American pit bull terriers were selected by how good they fought. With all breeds that are purebred there is a consistency that means we not only can predict. What They will look as well as how they should behave. We can expect these things because of the consistency at which they Occur. Things that we can expect with the American Pit bull terrier because they're more common than not. Are dog's with a high energy level high prey drive. Medium size with a slim Muscular athletic build short coat Scissorbite. Dog's that are determined intelligent and have a good disposition towards people. But some level of dog aggression is expected because that's what happens when people selectively breed a dog for fighting. For more than 75 years. I love the American Pit bull terrier and it's my breed of choice. I also know they aren't a breed that the majority of people should own. Most people can't handle the energy and prey drive/Dog aggression they have. It's a huge responsibility owning a 50lb dog that can stop a 100lb wild hog. There's a lot of people who say my pit bull isn't like that. My response is your dog is a poor representation of the breed If it was it would be registered with either the ADBA,BFKC or SDR it would have documented lineage and fit the breed standards. Then your dog could be shown as a representative for the American Pit bull terrier. A dog that can't be registered as that breed isn't a dog that represents that breed. If you would like to see a good looking American pit bull terrier Check out MK'S Big Pun. This isn't my dog but none the less Pun is a great representation of the American pit bull terrier.

I grew up in the countryside where the dogs would poop in the forests and ditches and there wasn't any need to pick it up. When I moved to a small city to study and got my own dog, I was actually exited to pick up the poop since it was a dog related thing I had never done before xD And picking up the poop from areas where people walk is so important. I noticed people picked up after their dog in spring/summer/autumn, but when winter and snow came, people didn't bother. There were brown spots everywhere in the snow, and when the snow melted in the spring... You can just imagine it. Disqusting. Even when my dog's poop sinked into the snow I would dig it up. Because that's your responsibility when you own a dog. Now I live away from the city's center and my apartment is basically surrounded by a forest from two sides I don't have to pick up the poop from the forest (again), but I do it if it's too close to the paths and obviously I pick the poop up immidiately if my dog poops in my backyard or close to the shared yard we have. It's so ridiculous when grown buff men complain about picking up dog poop. The way they act you would imagine they're scared the poop would bite them or something.
