Hello. This is my 1984 V8. I have been working on this car for a year now, in my spare time, and when I bought the car the objective was to just get it road legal so I could drive it about with lovely V8 sounds. Little did I know… I have been pulling my hair out trying to overcome the seemingly endless problems. I never thought a whole year would go by and I would only have covered 2000Km in the car. At least after the engine rebuild, what little power the car had has been mostly restored. You can now keep up with a man in a white van. And next week I will be dropping off both axles, suspension, steering etc and replacing all the bushings on the entire car, along with a lot more work. This video is the shorter and straight to the point version of a previous video of the engine rebuild that we did in the garden. All the best.
