Got my Rovan kill switch installed. I had the same engine kill button as you do so I just desoldered the wires off of the push button switch, cut two of the spade connectors off of the kill switch, shortened the wires a bit and soldered them on. It made the Installation much easier and more tidy. Gave it a test and it works great.

I take my engines in and out of my machine so very often and that soldering is not an option for me.

No need to notch casing,wires will fit behind casing,and piggyback spade connectors makes life even easier ,excellent video

Thanks bro 👍🏼 I notched the plastic dressing because I like to use a grommet around the wiring to prevent chafing 😉

Where did u put it into? Be good if we had a bird eye view of what u we’re doing cause I’m confused how to put it on

It plugs into channel 3 on the receiver and after that it’s all about getting everything to fit in the battery box 😉

Nice video brother Ben I bought that kill switch from rovan and never used it I got the killa 🐝 bee from killa rc but one question I have a fly wheel spacer from ddm and it says Zenoah spacer on it does it matter what spacer it is when using it for spacing the ignition switch

Thanks brother and thanks for watching!!! To answer your question I’m not familiar with the different kinds of spacers between different brands except for Redcat and Rovan. What I can tell you is you just want something solid to torque down on for a spacer and make sure your coil armatures line up with the magnets on the fly wheel. I have lost spacers before I have also mounted different coils as long as you get the fly wheel gap correct and the coil spacing corresponding with the fly wheel magnets correct you’re going to be good to go. 👊👊👊

Hi mate I have a question I got the same kill switch off eBay $30 I'm Australian pay double for Rovan bits anyway my kill switch is connected in the number 3 on the receiver and it turns off then I do a right hand turn personally I've given up never ending problems. Be safe bro

That’s a weird situation brother it sounds like when you do a right hand turn it delivers power or ground to the Killswitch and kills the engine for some reason. I would think your problem would be in your transmitter and receiver
