Rough Country 1.5-inch Front Lift Spring Install (1980 - 1996 Ford F-150)

Today I show you how to install Rough Country 1.5-inch front lift coil springs for 1980 thru 1996 ford F-150's. The process should be about the same for any twin I-beam or TTB ford front suspension and is a really quick and easy upgrade to perform using basic hand tools in your driveway. Keep in mind you will need an alignment after installing the new springs, so this is a good time to replace any worn steering components while you are here.

Rough Country sells a 2.5 inch lift kit for $399. That includes rear lift components as well. You might be able to call Rough Country and get just the front springs. I know the rake on my truck was enough that I could have lifted the front 2.5 inches and it wouldn't have looked wierd.
