2020 November, who’s is watching,,, I’m sure,
@mirrunga2 it should be 1/4 cup of water sorry it was a mistake
16 years later, and is still one of the best videos on how to make roti, and how to store it. I also appreciate how calm this video is.
Hi there. after months of trying, I finally managed to get d texture that I want. All you need is to mix d Atta flour (with salt added) with WARM water. Add 1/2 cup of fresh/ evoparted milk into 1 of d cups of water. Dont worry if its get mushy coz you can add more flour into it. Knead it for about 10-15 mins, d longer you knead d softer its get. Lastly, add 1 tsp veg oil into d bottom of d bowl & cont. kneading. Make d dough into a ball, leave it for 10mins. Then you are ready. Good Luck..!!
Thank u.I am a boy of age 16 and going to cook his first roti after watching this wonderful video.

It has been 15 years and it is still useful. Thank you
I came here due to Covid-19 lockdown to learn new things to make/cook. Made the best curry 1st attempt used 5 variations of spices and I never used curry powder who'd thought!? Best I ever made! Now I wish to learn roti to go with it next time I do it. Thank you so much!
It's great she doesn't bother self describing everything as 'perfect' 'superb' etc. She's just a natural great cook.
Came looking for this video specifically because I'm wearing a 'Roti & Chill' shirt and now I want roti 😂 My mamma is so far away 😭 grateful that Manjula is here to guide me ❤️❤️❤️
@seaningtime knead the dough more, dough should be very smooth and when you are rolling roti do not use too much dry flour just use enough to help you rolling.
@DorkSquad2 For this recipe you have to use whole-wheat flour
