I am so sorry for you. I was crying. I myself have twelve missfits :. One 17 yrs cockatiel, one 16 yrs amputated lineo, one 8 yrs cockatiel born with one eye, one bourke with pancreas cancer on borrowed time, etc. These angels are our kids. So when one of them is sick, mum worries. And when you loose one, your heart is just in pieces. My deepest condoleances for your baby.

aaawwwwweee I am so sorry for your loss . I know he's not mine but I'm crying with you. I watch all your videos and love all the Bird's. I also lost my little Angel girl about a month ago. she was a pacific parotlet. I had her for 11 years. she had never been sick before and she got sick. I did everything that the vet told me to but she still died. I miss her so much. I miss her Peeps, her lil grumpy side, her smell. I know you just lost your other bird not long ago to . Happ mother's day. your in my thoughts

Even though I subscribe to your channel, somehow I noticed starting the beginning of this year, I dont always get notified of new uploads. Same with my viewer's comments. So I went to your channel to see if there are any updates on Ruby and sadly found out he is no longer with you. I am so sorry to see him go thru all this. You did everything possible and hope you are finding peace with your other birds. It's always a hard thing when one loses a pet that is like a family member. Ruby is in a much better place now. RIP. I'm so sorry for your loss 😞😞 you cared well for him and you did everything you could. My canary Baily died a couple weeks ago, she was 8 years old...she waited for me in the morning to say goodbye, and died after she saw me and I spoke to her 😢

Oh no! I'm so sorry

Sorry about Ruby. It is so amazing how much Veterinarians Know About animals. You go through so much with your Pets. I hope the vertigo gets better. I had vertigo for 3 months and they did not know why. It was not related to my ears. But I am a human being so added to my many other diseases I know how to cope. For Ruby it is just not the way. I had hypertension due to stress over a year ago. My vision shakes when I looked at the side. This is a permanent problem and that I Dr. and neurologist do not have the answer. I just have to live with it. I think most people would throw up if the room was shaking like an earthquake every time I look especially when I am outside. Because I have multiple diagnosis since and I am terminally ill suffering is horrible. Sometimes I wish doctors would treat people like they do animals. My doctors are doing the best they can to keep me at home. If I go into nursing facility I would die. I have 6 Caregivers and I have to learn to meditation and just moving forward day at a time. Diseases really suck. I do not know if you know this but I am one out of 50 people in the world with my disease that they do not even know what it is. I was featured on 60 minutes in 2011. I am paralyzed from the neck down, I have respiratory disease and blindness plus a paralyzed bowel. I hate suffering but that is exactly what they make Humans Go through. 1 out of 2 people will get Alzheimer's disease in their life. It is the biggest Medicare expense in the United States. They just pack people in nursing homes if their families do not take care which Americans mostly cannot or do not. Do the right thing. Christine

Sorry to hear about your loss of Ruby. I know how you feel because in June, I tried to rescue 3 baby birds from my backyard, but sadly they all died on the 2nd day. Birds are not just animals. When we care for them, love them, and feed them, they become our children. Losing them takes a heavy toll on our heart and soul. May he rest peacefully now in Bird Heaven. Whenever I am depressed, You talk to me with your cute voices and tell me not to be sad. Whenever I cry, You gently kiss away my tears and let me know that you love me very much. You're very welcome. It's been 4 months and so how are you feeling now? Did you get any new bird after ruby passed away? You had 4 bourkes and you lost one. Now it's 3 left. I know sometimes it takes us a long time to recover. After I failed to raised 3 baby birds, I was sad for 2 wks until my sister took me to a bird store and then she bought me the parrotlet. This bird helps me and gives me joy. I wasn't expecting this bird. My first choices were gouldian finch and cockatiel. I heard that cockatiel can be very powdery and shed lots of feathers. I thought it was just a tour and get an estimate of what bird to get and how much at the store, but I was surprised she and my other sister paid for my bird. My bird (Rainbow) is hard to train and scared of everything. Maybe it takes time.

MrT _ yes I got another Bourke after he passed away and now I have two babies from my other Bourke's so that makes six Bourke's. I miss Ruby very much, he was a very nice bird.

I'm glad you got another bird. Do you ever sale your baby bourkes? I know you live in Canada and I'm in California. I hate to have birds/animals shipped. It's so stressful for them. In October, there is a bird expo in Anaheim. It'll be my first time attending. I'm still deciding if I want to get a 2nd bird. Should I? If I have to go to jury duty or go to 3D convention, I'll be gone for several hours. With Rainbow now at home, I just don't want him to feel lonely at home. Would a 2nd bird help him? Of course not in the same cage. One time I had to go fix my client's computer and I was away for 6 hrs. When I came home, my sister said he called me several times and keeps running around cage. When I held him, he bit me 2x. He rarely bites me.

I had two babies from my pair and I am keeping them. I believe that they need a friend even if in another cage side by side but Bourke's love to be with each other if they get along, mine preen each other.

Aww so sorry for your loss, how come your birds are starting to die now ?? Didn't one just pass away

Qais Javed Wizard my Linnie passed away. He had cancer. With owning multiple birds there will be sickness and deaths. Unfortunately it happens at the same time. Wizard was 10 and Ruby was 9. I have another bird that has a heart problem.
