Hi, thanks! The father Rosy is 10 years old, the mother Roxy is 3 years old. It's best to wait until they are over 2 years old. Thanks for watching.

Congratulations. That is wonderful. I know the feeling of having babies. My budgies are breeding and I get so excited when I see a baby in the box. Have never put on rings, would be too nervous. But at least with budgies I can tell the difference by their colouring. Going to be exciting following their growing stages. 🐦

Cheryl Pentz Thank you. It's easier to tell budgies apart for sure. The babies almost look the same now, I am glad I banded them to tell which one was first

I love those keets you are so interesting with your birds dogs fish (I love fish) I had rabbits as well. I want to make the shower like you made. So are you a breeder? I use to have love birds and my female always had babies and they were so cute

Hi, I am not a full time or big breeder. I breed an occasion if my birds want to. Most of my birds are males. My Bourkes bred for the first time and I was so excited because Bourkes are hard to find. I have two other babies in the nest and then thats all I will let them breed for a while because I have a hard time letting my babies go to new homes and I keep them, lol

Love of Pets I had toy poodles they were so wonderful love all poodles

I want one of these little guys so bad they look so cute omg but I’m scared of getting a female cuz of the egg laying I ended up with two males and never have to worry

The baby’s are adorable 😍 I just got a baby love bird she doesn’t have any nails it was a birth defect that she was born with I just want to make her as comfortable as I can do you have any suggestions on what I can do for her cage setup to help ? Thank you love your Chanel

Congratulations on your new baby Lovebird. Since she has no nails make sure the perches are not slippery. Remove the dowels that come with the cage as they are slippery and she may fall and hurt herself. Also you can keep the dowels and cover them with vet wrap or mole skin for better grip. Try the rope perches, fir perches, dragonwood perches or any perches that are not smooth and slippery.

She will be able to climb without nails. I suggest to not clip her flight feathers so that she can get around better.

Love your other Video's....But I am Sorry...I am against banding baby birds legs...Have seen too many Birds with damaged swollen legs when the bands became so tight as the bird grew. The band would grow right into the birds leg which would became infected so bad and could and sometimes did kill the bird .. Seen way to many Bird legs that had to be surgical amputated because of banding...Some birds I have seen even chewed their leg off because of a band that became so tight and was so hurtful to them.... CUT those bands off...I don't think any of us humans would like to have a shackle around our ankle at birth when we are little to only have it tight up as we grow in life and never have a way to loosen it..

Jacquelyn i think as long as the bird has responsible parents like these babies do then it is safe, she is extremely careful with all her pets and looks after there every need.
