It literally makes you unstable I'm sure she looks back at these interviews appalled u can see the difference in her after his conviction. It's a strange feeling the nonvaladation how angry it makes you and into someone u dont recognize. Everyone becomes your opposition after your denied so many times anyone u encounter becomes the enemy and your in defense mode you immediately assume they wont believe it either. Its terrible and unfortunately I think only someone who's been denied justice can understand

No. That is no kind of break through, insightful answer. If some 260lb. woman pushed me into a bathroom and magically made my clothing evaporate off of my body and pushed me up against a wall and began performing oral sex on me I would 1. Weinstein is guilty but I dont understand why victims go to their lawyer. Victims should go to police. Its not true because she did sex scenes in a movie that people wouldnt believe her. I think these lawyers have a financial interest to encourage civil cases and not criminal cases because they can get more money, they can get a percentage of the settlement.

I just wanted it to be over as soon as possible, and I wanted to make sure I survived the experience. I didn't know if he was gonna kill me. Sorry to say but she is disturbingly looking and sounding more like Sinead O'Connor these days ... mindlessly barking at even women who are ironically supporting her MeToo cause for not doing enough ... its like she's going a bit nuts. Its like, an environmental protestor screaming at 1 person removing a tree in their backyard when they should be going after big corporations instead ... Natalie Portman's small production company has so much smaller pool of directors to chose from compared to big productions with big budgets, why is McGowan targeting companies that live and die by each movie it makes ? These companies hardly have the freedom and capacity to chose directors based on gender and ignore other more crucial considerations ...

She literally said “I don’t mean you” right afterwords. She states she did not mean her. She is angry. It’s to be expected. Decades of pain and healing (death and rebirth) so I’m sure she is tried of hearing that people are stuck on the letter A when she is at Z. It’s exhausting if you have been there to need to explain it and justify it and revisit it endlessly when 10-20 year old research can be read to get you to a place of not needing to ask. Cognitive shortcuts will be the end of the human mind unless we are all aware of their dangers. Reporters do ask stupid questions though because they assume the masses are dumb. My favorite ones are “how did that make you feel when your child was brutally murdered?” The dumb questions .are empty and senseless ....so by saying what she did she essentially said, people aren’t so stupid you need to ask that stuff and by asking that you’re saying people are stupid.

I once went to a condo of a guy I hadn't met before with a few friends to pre-drink before we all headed to a club. Afterwards, we went back to the condo. My friends left (breaking the friend code) leaving me with that guy. I am very thankful I was wearing jeans (would normally go out with a dress/skirt). I told him I was going to sleep on the couch and he tried to force himself on me. I was trying to push him off and saying no. He didn't stop. Then I said, almost yelling "do you have a mom... a sister... a daughter??!!". Then he stopped. It was lucky I said because he stopped. I did, for some reason, stay and sleep. The next morning he was extremely apologetic. I told him we were NOT friends and if he ever saw me in the street to look the other way like we had never met. My friends are still very upset that happened. I would NEVER victimize a victim. Just awful.

Priscilla Donald don’t feed the predators any man who thinks likely a rapist himself. I would love to see how he would feel if some 300 pound 6’6 gay man took what he wanted from him. I would look at him and ask him why he is lying he knows he wanted it! He didn’t fight back hard enough he could’ve walked away he should’ve said no. Oh wait there a recording of him saying no over and over and over again we’ll that’s not true he didn’t leave he stayed. His path was blocked by someone 3 times his size who over powered him without even trying. He still could’ve said no and just left though. For the asshole above ☝️ When someone has physical power over you outweighing you by 200 pounds or more and towering over you you are trapped in that situation you’re instinct is to survive it and get out of it as fast as you can. When you’re that afraid you freeze. I know when someone’s body language is telling me they’re uncomfortable in a normal situation so don’t tell this fuck didn’t know what he was doing was sexual assault and this was not two sided. Telling a woman not to throw away a friendship with him over 5 minutes said it all and that was recorded it’s his voice his words. Hers were no, I’m uncomfortable, I want to leave, no, no, no. The fear and distress in that woman’s voice were real, the annoyance that she wouldn’t play his games in his as he tried as hard as he could to force her to bend to his will was also real. So fuck him, fuck anyone like him, fuck anyone defending his actions, and fuck you. I really hope one day you’re presented with some man twice your size who could easily over power you and take what he wants from you but doesn’t. Just so you know what it’s like for woman every single day. We can’t walk to our car alone without looking over our shoulder to make sure some male predator is t trying to harm us. It why woman go to the bathroom in pairs. It’s why woman don’t like to do things alone in general we’re safer in numbers. 1 in 3 woman has been sexually assaulted in some way, 1 in 5 have been raped. Yes I was raped but I wasn’t a woman I was an 8 year old little girl just playing at the park with my 5 year old cousin and no adult supervision. That was 1982. August of 2017 he was finally caught after a family me ever turned him when she found his house was floor to ceiling in child pornography. His name is Charles Emory and he is from Seattle, Washington so you can take a look for yourself. That man kidnapped, raped, tortured and murdered little girls with his brothers for over 60 years. There are 100s of woman just like me who’ve come forward. We are the lucky ones who didn’t get in the car. His sentencing was to spend the remainder of his days in the state mental hospital because he has dementia and can not be charged, he can’t defend himself....neither could we but we were still raped.

Something I've been struggling with lately (also being a person who has been assaulted) is the question of "Why?" In my opinion, we, as human beings, need to no longer use this question. "Why didn't you this?" or "Why didn't you that?" It serves ABSOLUTELY NO FUNCTION at all other than to dismiss the vulnerability, guilt, shame, fear, and, ultimate, CONFUSION, experienced by those who have been assaulted. People REALLY shouldn't ask any questions, at all. Cause it's NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. But, if they must ask, the question should be HOW. And, certainly, NOT, aimed at the victims, but at their PERPETRATORS!!! HOW did this happen? WHO took you to "his" office? WHERE did it take place? WHEN did it take place? WHAT did he do to you??? We should drop the "Why". It no longer applies. ESPECIALLY when it comes to sexual assault!!!!!!! ANYTHING but that. It's a useless, meaningless word people only utilize to detach from an {already uncomfortable} experience.

It is so heartbreaking how young people flock there to pursue their passions, looking at such a bright future to be crushed by the weight of all the monsters that take everything from them and give nothing back. Too many of these people are in positions of power and everyone around them protects them. It is unacceptable and people like her is how it will stop. Her bravery will help others come forward, until hopefully people will wake up and stand up for eachother when it happens.

But not one of them did the right thing and went to the Police to report what he had done, so he could be arrested and so other women could be protected. All these Actresses were concerned with was protecting thier acting Careers, not other women. Now Years later after its come out about what he did to countless women, these Actresses have the nerve to expect pity for what they went through. One time someone broke into my home while I was sleeping, I woke up to the sounds of yelling and banging.. it was horrific. In that moment my mind stopped working and instead of going to the sliding glass door to escape the house, I hid. Not the most brilliant decision, right? I always thought I'd be smart in a situation like that but when traumatic events take place most times the mind can't process a proper reaction. I believe her 100% because I've experienced that frozen state, its real, this woman is being honest.

southlondon86 sometimes it’s empowering knowing that others are there with you, showing that you are indeed more than just ‘one woman’. She froze up and locked it inside, who was she at that time in a turbulent sea of women making these allegations. She knew that at that moment she was irrelevant and she was never going to get the traction going like some of the other women accusing Weinstein of rape. Now it’s a different story, she feels safe and empowered to step out and talk about it. I’m not saying you should blindly follow her but just put yourself in her shoes. M You’re young, just starting out in your field and you meet one of the most influential men in the business. Unless you’re royalty or have everything on tape you’re screwed. Now imagine telling people about what happened and everyone going “you deserved it, he did nothing wrong, the story seems fake”.

Monsters have no power in a world where people don't play along in their games. That goes for politicians as well as rapists. Monsters would quickly go extinct in a world where people thought a little farther ahead. But as long as we condone them, defend the reasoning behind their actions, worship them for their power, then these monsters will remain. You get one, two more replace them. You people try to treat the symptoms but don't look at the underlying disease. Good luck with that.

"i can feel him there“ and also the way she says it… every person that experienced what she had to, knows exactly how this feels. it‘s a very terrifying, very lonely, gut wrenching and disgusting place to be forced into. it‘s so scary when even an event or a place can make you feel the same way this person made you feel like it‘s a reminder that just keeps coming up. you never forget that feeling and when this never happend to you can be glad that you‘ll never have to have this feeling bc it‘s like a sense that never goes away.

I see so many people being advocates and spokepeople for all these movements against sexual violence at workplace but I haven't seen a single person honoring Rose, or giving her the platform she deserves. She is so brave for what she's done. I hope she finds the peace and happiness she deserves.

I like to think of myself as a very tough woman. Been in many fights with men and women. But when someone did something to me that I didn't want, I did the exact same thing...I just froze!!!! I hate myself for that! To this day I get so mad when I look back on that day! It really does change you as a person. I have 3 daughters now and they think I'm too over protective and I'll gladly be that so they will never have to feel what I felt in that moment.
