They tried in Ballsbridge in Dublin. The rich hired lawyers and won the case same day, judge prohibited to plant the migrants there. But ordinary people are unable.to organize that well and the jugdes may give a doubles-tandard sentence

Most Irish won't have heard about this legal action - it would've been under-reported for obvious reasons. Some of RTE's executives and key on-air personnel probably live there too. The hotel owners get offered big bucks for the hotel. Many hoteliers are struggling anyway so being paid over the odds for just clearing off is too tempting. Indeed, if one doesn’t, someone else will 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think we in the North of Ireland should be coming together to make our voices heard. We cannot get houses, playgroup or nursery school places and our services are being put under so much more pressure. There's great support for everything that's going on in Palestine and Muslim immigrants coming into the country around some of the border towns. Some, goodness how do I put this, some hard-line republicans compare the British here with the issues Muslims are having. We're in the South on a regular basis and that's where the majority of our dearest friends are and there doesn't seem to be the same support for Muslims and Palestine on that side of the border, whereas here there are protests with Muslims and wristbands etc being worn by citizens here. I live a few miles from a small village on the coast of Donegal - the locals particularly the vulnerable tell me they are now living in fear because of the behaviour of those planted there...! Just terrible what is happening to Ireland, it will descend into a copy of Sweden. Very sad.

I would not be surprised to see a paramilitary response from the people of Ireland if their concerns continue to be ignored by the government.

Loosing their only local hotel is a total disgrace - the Irish government are mishandling this situation so badly - they have billions is their surplus budget to build temp shelters for these migrants or refugees - Roscrea has been unfairly treated here...

Why should born and bred residents have to put up with this? What gives politicians who are supposed to act for the best interests of the people that voted for them, the right to go against the majority ?

Same reason Spanish authorities allow for the Okupas (the migrant squaters). Here in Madrid you can’t leave your house unoccupied for a week to go on holiday abroad. Someone will snitch to the Okupas mafia and you’ll find your home LEGALLY!!! occupied by some Moroccan migrant and you can’t evict them upon return from your holiday. Police cant do anything. Politicians took away any legal tools from the police to evict the squatters for these squatters are used as loyal voters for those politicians, who let them in.

I'm on-Irish, non-English but born and bred in UK. The politicians are dividing communities. War on the global level leading to regional displacement. It's awful.

Name the TD's. Let people know who not to vote for in the upcoming local elections.

I'm originally from Irish Republic. Lived in Liverpool for over 60 yrs. I can't believe what our governments are allowing to happen in our islands.

I wish people would be more honest and say out loud that they are sick of being dumped on with migrants that woman speaks honeatly and well shame on that foreigner who has sold ireland out

It's the same here in Scotland, there is a private company working in collusion with this lot in Westminster who are buying hotels and properties to house these invaders, and they even had the brass neck to try and force local councils to accommodate them instead of looking after our own people, if this continues this country will be like a war zone.

I saw this all play out in England 30 /40 years ago, never thought it would follow me here, just shows how naive we all are. Politicians smell the same from wherever they're from.

My absolute sympathies and respect to the Roscrea people, it's a disgrace what the government have done

Why are they not using hotels in Dublin 4 ? There’s plenty of massive hotels in ballsbridge.

This is happening everywhere and the government doesn’t give one iota. They don’t speak English or integrate, just look at most large cities in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland they group up in their own communities, you can’t walk through these areas. It makes people feel unsafe in their own country.

This lady is genuine and representative of the real Ireland.
