She deserves the Golden Globe.She was so good in it.

Rosamund's character in Saltburn was one of my favourite things about the entire movie. She's so droll and hilarious! Her dialogue with Carey Mulligan's hapless character is pure comedy gold. She definitely deserves an Oscar for her performance!

She’s a lot more warm, approachable, and funnier than I thought. 🥰

She has been MOTHER to me since I watched Gone Girl! A splendid actress! So delightful to watch!

Saw SALTBURN twice. Her line delivery was so delicious. Maybe not enough meat for Oscar but she needs to be nominated.

Superb acting by all the cast. This movie seemed more like a a very dark drama rather than comedy. Very unexpected creepy ending. Worthy of nomination for a variety of categories.

I love how authentic she seems to be. No nonsense. Direct, powerful, tough, convincing, and - extremely beautiful.

Gone Girl will always be one of my favourite movie.

I had no idea that Rosamund Pike was English. In fact, seeing this movie first, I thought she was actually putting on a British accent...but then her mannerisms did seem British, but just thought "wow she is good". But no clue. I still can't rock with her after "Gone Girl" fully lol, but she's amazing.

You can see her in pride and prejudice 2005 alongside Keira Knightley, also very British in that😅 She actually went to Oxford herself (and is quite posh) so fairly familiar with the subject matter lol

I love this actress she is just a class act and has a mystery to her that makes her unique

She is such a gem. She was the perfect actress to play Amy in Gone Girl and I absolutely loved her character in Saltburn. Elsbeth was such a sympathetic character despite everything about her being the type of person you generally wouldn’t like.

Awesome performance for her!

I think she is beautiful…a great actress, of course

I found the obsessions of humans to be quite interesting. Many are drawn and obsessed to these figures of affluence and aristocracy who, as Rosamund pointed out with Elspeth, are can be very basic and get bored with cleverness. The true geniuses and clever humans among us get little recognition, outside of their coterie. People who should be more mainstream and garner obsession are sideshow for "The Royals" and Kardashians, etc. It truly is fascinating and mind-boggling.

I noticed they discreetly hopped over her role in DooM. Shame, as that was a much better film than folk give it credit for.

I'm a movie buff and I haven't even seen or heard of half of the nominees films.... That's how you know filmmaking is at a new low. To me this is an obvious win for Rosamund Pike as she was one of those rare supporting characters that was nothing less than utterly essential for the film she was in. The film would of dropped a whole point or star in a 5 point/star scale without her presence and human authenticity she brings to this matter of fact horrible person all things considered.

I find Rosamond Pike strangely attractive, she is a talented actress. As for the film Saltburn. It seemed a bit half baked, not quite realistic enough for me to swallow the narrative i'm afraid.

Strangely attractive? She's been cast as a Bond girl and local beauty Jane Bennett, a former model in Saltburn and a grifter's arm-candy in An Education. She is thin and blonde and very conventionally beautiful.

On the surface she seems a little cold and detached, but i get the feeling there's an vulnerability, which she uses in her acting to great effect. Happy new year🥂.

Just watched it and it’s not even close to a worst film list. Beautiful cinematography, riveting performances, exquisite location. It WAS however very derivative. The ‘love child’ of Brideshead Revisited and the Talented Mr Ripley ( with a bit of icky unfathomable grave copulation thrown in for good measure)

American voices so garrulous by contrast.

I met Margot the other night at a Barbie screening and I told her I saw ‘saltburn’ and she made a face like she was in trouble. 😂 she asked me what I thought and I said ‘a cross of cruel intentions and talented mr ripley’ And she goes ‘that’s what emerald and I said!’.

I wouldn't call it boring! It's dark. At times disturbing. I wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't considered a comedy. It was well made and featured amazing actors but some scenes were too dark for my taste.
