Rashford is just showing how extremely out of touch he is. He is being judged on his on-field performances, that’s it. And his on-field performances have been horrendous this year. He is being rightfully criticized for his embarrassing lack of effort, his terrible body language, not tracking back, constantly dribbling with his head down into blind alleys and losing possession, constantly turning the ball over making simple passes, never putting in crosses for Hojlund as a winger, and wildly shooting from distance over and over again with virtually nothing to show for it this year. Rashford is trying to play the victim card and it isn’t going to work. Literally millions of people around the world have seen how poor he has been this year and he’s not going to be able to play that card when everyone can clearly see how bad he has been this season.

Yes he’s worked hard to get to where he is fair enough but he needs to get his head down and get back to being at his very best especially when everyone has seen what he is capable of on the pitch

I haven’t seen Rashford receive abuse. I’ve seen him receive criticism which is different to abuse, and clearly he can’t handle it. 350k a week, some charity work off the field, and he thinks he’s untouchable. He needs to look why he is being criticised, it’s because he is lazy, and has been absolutely woeful all season. He needs to grow up.

Bratty Rashy has no idea what abuse or what a hate crime actually means. My family lived in the street from hell, surrounded by detestable people, especially both next door neighbors, who used to harass us daily, with verbal comments, banging on the walls, screaming kids in the next garden and worst of all, once the ass pipe bloke next door tried to kick our door down, and attack my 65 year old father(luckily we had a good chain and a good front door, so he never got through, but his attention was to attack my dad). Very lucky we moved a few years later, and the place we are now is nearly a 100% better in every way, with nice quiet people and caring people(the ex street we were at btw, is much worse now with a lad stabbed to death and even wait for it, a drive by shooting occurred, in a UK street, we got out just at the right time). Now a ponce on £350 grand a week, playing like a 10 year old, acting like one too, called Marcus Rashford needs to read my post here, as that my friends is a hate crime, his is just worthy criticism.

People keep saying Rashford was great last season but that just isn't true! Yes, his goal tally at the end of last season looked good but in terms of his performances, he certainly didn't have a brilliant season! He was poor in all but a couple of games before The World Cup, then played well for most of the next two months(mostly in cup games) and then went back to being poor again at the end of February '23 and has been getting worse and worse ever since. So he's been mostly-poor for 6 or 7 years and particularly terrible for 14 months and counting, yet people still try to pretend that he's a world-class superstar who's just going through a bad patch! Rashford is basically Federico Macheda with a great PR team and it's just ridiculous that United didn't sell him years ago and probably won't sell him for another year or two!

I'm sure there's been some actual abuse, but most has just been criticism for his performances and actions, which is completely valid. I don't agree with Jennings often, but he's correct when he says that the abuse Maguire got last year was far worse but no one was saying it was too far. When they (footballers) don't show their worth on the pitch, you get criticised for it. He's clearly spending too much time on twitter and is letting what random people on the internet are saying about him, bother him far too much.

Someone said he thinks he is untouchable is perfectly right. Rashford earns 350k per week come on boy enough is enough time for you to perform on the pitch.

Rashford clearly needs a fresh challenge. Gone stale at utd, spent to long in the man utd bubble. He needs to move to a team that can bring him fresh motivation and start with a clean slate. The main advice I'd give him is remember your a professional footballer first and all the other stuff is just 'noise'.

Getting paid in a week more than the average household gets in a year. Not putting in 100% effort in front of people who cant necessarily afford the ticket. Was this kid born in a bubble, with no sense of reality? Abuse? You get paid to be scrutinised by the public. Its your privilege andJob

Get rid asap! He can go and play for a club where he isn't under pressure and won't face criticism like he does at United

Why doesn't he just get someone else to run his social media like smart people do, you get the benefits of having the celebrity status due to followers and likes without having to view all the offensive comments...He seems really shy and an introvert for me it seems like social media is the last thing he should be looking at.

How can a top professional be more worried about social media comments than his own performance? Top professionals ar always targetted with abuse, from fans, rivals and trolls. Even the GOAT Ronaldo has recieved abuse throughout his career. The only way to make the abuse irrelevant is to step up and perform on the pitch, especially when you are being given a 1000 chances despite poor performances, a luxury not many players get.
