    Hi Stefan, Your comment on standing further back activating the posterior deltoid - what are the benefits of doing one or the other? Other demonstrations of this exercise use a pretty close stance - almost vertical. Also, if your wrists hurt, is that due to using too heavy a weight that your delts aren’t being recruited effectively enough?

    Hi Daniel...well if you were doing the exercise to target more the posterior delts you then you would stand a bit further back. If you wanted to target more medial delts then stand closer.

    As far as the wrists...you could try using a long rope or not going too high.
