Tousled-haired Ronnie, always looking like he was in trouble...What a star. Him and Stevie are well missed. They wrote songs by their early twenties that most songwriters could only dream of! Lovely man..

God - Sooo special - just standing there no flash no glam - just Ronnie's sweet melodic voice & beautiful music - such a sad sad end to such a class act. Ronnie Lane had something - like Marriott he sparkled like a fine rare gem. Aww Plonk - always in my heart - may you rest "under dreaming spires" A beautiful cat indeed & I miss him - I miss real rock musicians.

@jdcovington New(ish) fan of of Small Faces and Ronnie Lane, longtime fan of Pete Townshend and loved Ronnie Lane's "Evolution"on Who Came First. Until very recently, never knew much more than this of him. Listened to this for the first time last evening and thought the same thing, he's capturing the same sort of sweet sorrow that (early solo) George Harrison did so well. What a lovely piece!

@bagwanhardcastle - Benny and Graham were already a duo when they joined Slim Chance. It's likely they had to quit for contractual and financial reasons; they and Ronnie were signed to different labels, and Ronnie's tours were not well managed.
