Sean, you're the only person I listen to when it comes to fit. You and I have almost the exact same foot shape, I'm just a 10.5. I am a big Asics and KITH enthusiast, however, I do share the same sentiment as you, for a 100th collab they are slightly underwhelming and I prefer the Super Orange. I think they also missed the trick with not having a yellow T bone traction on the outsole too. Thanks for the great review!

for a ronnie fieg/asics fan i think these are a must cop, but i wish the super orange was the 100th pair. i wish this pair stood out a bit more in terms of colorway

Hey, I’m a little confused at the sizing due to the remastered edition. Should I get these in the same 11.5 size I always get my GL3’s, or should I size up, down etc.? I have a slightly wide foot.

They fit strange. It’s snug in the midfoot to the tongue doesn’t close regardless if I go tts or half up. Otherwise the shoe fits me tts aside from the tongue issue.

Me personally I’ve always like the way the shoe doesn’t close it makes the shoe so unique. I see so many people trying to get it to close but that never even crossed my mind. They also look so much better loose and untied in my opinion. When you tie them up like footballs they look lame to me but to each is own!

I like this shoe, but I can't help but think of it as a takedown version of the Super Greens which, in my opinion, are one of the greatest GLIII's ever made.

To me they do but the midfoot is TIGHT, it’s near impossible to close the tongue without a gap.

Love everything except for the tongue on the gel lyte III.

I agree these are a bit underwhelming but why does every shoe have to be in your face? Objectively, a lot of hyped shoes are underwhelming. To break it down objectively, chicago 1s is just a red and white sneaker. Subjectively, it’s nice because of the history. Anyways, I appreciate the materials on this pair and the subtle design makes it easy to wear everyday without looking like I’m trying too hard. I do agree with people in the comments that it’s not worth the price tag but most of those folks haven’t held these shoes in hand.
