BloodofPatriots Thats the "sport judo" in the Olmpics and Tournaments shes talking about, not the Martial Art .. any judo school still does original Kodokan. I never follow the "no Kata Gurma" rule Funny how she says it gives her a little edge lol .. I would say its a HUGE edge knowing Judo. Be interesting if Edith does join the MMA

The Top Loader I know what she's talking about. I hate the IJF rules. Like her mother, I'm partial to Freestyle Judo that's returning Judo to its roots. I'd love to see Kayla Harrison join MMA and destroy the Featherweight Class.

BloodofPatriots I hate the sport rules too ...it does make us Judoka's look like sissys .. Stupid rules like holding the pants resulting in instant disqualifiction is not Judo. Glad I still train the way Judo is meant to be

The Top Loader I hated the pitty pat point fighters that got ahead and stalled out the clock. That shit pissed me off more than anything.

BloodofPatriots Agreed, it does happen in most sports though (stalling out the clock)
