Notice how the other players like Figo and stokovic took there chances rather than always passing to Ronaldo. Cr7 in his Madrid days was just being spoon fed. He will never be half as good as a prime Ronaldo

What a goalkeeper Bodo Illgner was. He always made good decisions and had a perfect positioning, plus the longest range, and he covered the goal very well.

It was very difficult to find him unaware and cause him problems because of that. In that goal you mention, he stood still, a rare thing for him... He said he saw the ball only too late...

I remember my older brother going on a school trip to Barcelona in 1996. He got back home and had bought this legendary barca shirt. I was a die hard juve fan, but loved that shirt. Kappa caught that 90’s feeling plus the design was amazing.

Que maravillosos días, vi todos los partidos de los dos equipos en los años ochenta y noventa, en esos años El Clásico era una cuestión de vida o muerte para ambos equipos, en los noventa el Barcelona logró vencer al Real Madrid solo dos veces, una en el liga y otra en copa, mientras que el Real Madrid me necesitaba 20 años desde 1984, el último triunfo en el Camp Nou hasta que consiguieron ganar en la temporada 2004

It's just incredible how many clear chances Mijatovic missed. Redondo unplayable, impassable, Ronaldo and Figo hot but clumsy. En el futbol actual quizás sí, pero la primera toca balón, aunque va con mucha fuerza pero llega al balón. La 2da un poco de lo mismo pero llega mas tarde, por eso compensan en el penal a Figo, no lo toca y dan el penal para compensar.

We can see that both lower legs of RC didnt touched Figo, seems like he even sliped idk, I think what MAY have touched Figos foot while runnig was RCs knee.. anyway in fast motion it clearly looks like a penalty, in slow and in the right angle can look like he took the opportunity to dive.

Это только те, кого смог сходу вспомнить на 93-2000 г. г. И это не считая фланговых защитников. Так что, возможно Nadal даже в 20 лучших CD не входит.

Hierro, Baresi, Maldini, Nadal and Sammer were the best central defenders in the 90’s. The others you mentioned were at his peak in the 2000’s, or not as good as the five I’ve mentioned
